I went in to see Dr. Lau at NW Chiropractic and Massage after I had injured my shoulder and tried a number of different physio places and treatments. I noticed that the clinic specialized in shoulder injuries so I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did.In our first session Dr. Lau ensured he understood everything about my injury and all the movements that were causing pain. He made suggestions about possible approaches and treatments and ensured I was comfortable with the combination of shockwave therapy and dry needling. He let me know how many visits I should expect and when I might hit some recovery milestones. I went in every week for a while, then cut back to once every two weeks.Every session was like a breakthrough. I felt so much better immediately, and the stretches and exercises suggested were perfect. After struggling for so long with such a painful and annoying injury, I feel like Dr. Lau restored my quality of life. I forgot what it was like to not take pain meds every day and deal with severely restricted movements. Now I can sleep soundly again and I'm back playing golf and volleyball completely pain-free.In only 8 visits I went from barely moving my arm to fully pain-free and a full range of motion. I'm extremely impressed with the treatment and genuine care I received from Dr. Lau and how quickly he was able to get me back to 100%. I am so glad I found this clinic!
