I would like to edit my review. My son Isaak Griffin, DOB 11/12/08 had unnecessary procedures and I would like my money back. I spent $3000 out of pocket for a nerve block and ablation when come to find out he has cervical kyphosis that a nerve ablation wouldn't help. You guys have his imaging, never once telling me that his cervical spine curves the opposite direction of what is normal. You proceed to do a nerve block that had very minimal results that only lasted an hour, therefore, he should have been told an ablation would help. The only reason the nerve block helped at the very beginning is because you pumped him full of pain medication, so I would expect that the help any anyone's condition. That doesnt mean an ablation is the next thing to do. I should have been told its a postural thing and been referred to a chiropractor instead of me having to research and find that info on my own. Even his chiropractor said a nerve ablation wouldn't help. There is nothing in his mri that showed nerve impingement and he didnt even have symptoms of nerve pain. Its so frustrating to spend thousands of dollars on something that had no positive relief. I don't work because of my own disabilities so its not like $3,000 is some chunk change for me. You should have told us the shape of his neck which you didn't. I have also filed a complaint with the radiologist who did his mri because he didnt state in the report that his cervical spine curved the wrong way. But if you are a radiologist yourself, you should have picked up on that and told me about it as well as options. I feel like you took advantage of my son, my money and just hoped for the best without explaining what was really going on. Thats unprofessional and I expected more from you being a radiologist and someone who we were referred to as if you were so great at what you do. Now I am out $3,000, with a son that has moderate to severe chronic neck pain to the point I had to pull him out of school and have him go virtual. Now im paying even more so he can get this corrected by a chiropractor who said if his condition was ignored, he would be in a world of hurt. I feel you need to do the right thing and reimburse me my money for not being upfront with his spinal condition. Now that money will go towards getting his neck properly aligned, something a nerve ablation would never do. You didn't even address the actual cause and I feel like you were just out to make money on unnecessary procedures.
