I was somewhat skeptical to sign up for Salsa classes because I knew absolutely nothing about salsa AND I was signing up solo. I was so afraid I would be standing awkwardly alone in a corner hoping someone would volunteer to be my partner. After completing my first round at level one all fear is gone. Zora is an amazing instructor and very easy to learn from. Every single person in the class is delightful, warm, and welcoming. We all take turns practicing with each other so you’re never alone. I already signed up for my second month and can’t wait to learn more and deepen the connections I’ve made with this beautiful community of people. I am taking the salsa intermediate-advanced class and I just love it. I have been dancing salsa for many years and this is one of the best classes I ever had. Zora knows how to explain new steps and help us polish our dance in a nice way. She also creates a sense of community for all her students in this and other classes. The socials that happen once a month are also fantastic. You get to meet with your friends and make new ones, and dance with everyone from beginners to very advanced dancers in a friendly, vibrant space. Less
