My husband and I are veterans that were looking to do the VA IRRL on our house. I received a letter in the mail from 1st Rate Home Mortgage and called the number on the letter. Logan Butler was the gentleman on the other line. He was very friendly, professional, and informative. My husband and I have fallen on hard times and couldn’t qualify for the VA IRRL program at the time, but Logan still was very helpful in giving information that helped us dealing with our current lender and how to best go forward. I was impressed with his knowledge and willingness to help us, despite that we weren’t a “client” of his. He wasn’t selling us anything nor was he trying to put us in a worst state than what we were already at. He was even personable, asking about what I do for a living. He asked me to send him a photo of the work I do. He was just a level-headed, down to earth, approachable person. I told him I appreciated his help and that I would keep his information for future purposes. A couple months went by, and he texted me asking how we were doing, just checking in!!! I’ve never had any lender, finance guy from anywhere-bank, etc., contact me to just check in and see how things are. If he wasn't sure, he told me so and got back to me with the answer. His honesty instilled trust and respect in me. I felt as though I got to know a little bit of Justin and feel comfortable calling on him for questions on mortgages, loans, etc. I'm not big on phone deals, but working with Justin was easy and relaxing.
