He’s actually honest, but also quick he really knows what he’s talking about. Of course it is over 110° with the heat index when my air conditioner decided it was over it. Dave came out and got me up and running again. He explained everything to me in a way that made sense and I have zero knowledge about HVAC units except I want them to work when I want them to work. He is local to Mount Juliet. I like that as well. I prefer to support a local business versus some giant corporation. I highly recommend him. But no offense to him, I hope I don’t need his services again anytime soon. But if that time does arrive, I know who I will be calling.

Reached out to Honest Dave's to have a look at our downstairs A/C and Dave got back with me the same day. By the next day his tech Anthony was at our house and had diagnosed the problem right away. He was in and out in less than 2 hours, the bill was reasonable, and we had cold air again. My first service call with Honest Dave's was a positive experience and I'm sure we'll be using him again if the need arises. Highly recommend!

Update May 28 2026:A few weeks ago I had Dave come out to do routine maintenance on my units. All was fine. Flash forward a few weeks and I noticed water dripping into my basement ceiling. I called a plumber and he noticed that the pan on my HVAC unit was overflowing. I called Dave and he and his colleague Anthony came out within a few hours and figured out what was causing the issue- a huge clog in the drain line all the way at the ground level of my house.They took complete ownership of having missed the issue on their maintenance call, which I greatly appreciated, and have done everything possible to make sure it doesn’t happen again any time soon. Still a 5 star review company from my perspective.Original review: I came home from a quick trip a house that was much warmer than normal. After a few hours as it continued to rise I called Dave. He was able to add me to his achedule the same day. (When he arrived it was 87 in my house!!) He was able to determine the cause, replace a part, and get it working again very quickly. I’m very happy with his work and knowledge and definitely recommend him.

I had a great experience with this company. This morning I woke up to my air conditioners not working and my house being stuck at 75. He thankfully was able to come same day and diagnose the issue on site and fix the issue on site for what I think is a reasonable price. Absolutely would recommend!
