Can as a visiting black belt and WOW.The facility and mats were exceptionally clean - not a single hair or fuzz ball to be seen. Additionally, the mats had an additional spring load, and my 43 yr old knees REALLY appreciated it.The vibe and culture are both welcoming and educational. During the competitive role time, all belt levels were actively trying to implement the move of the day, while getting after it. No ones ego was too large and there was no submission ripping.Rio is a perfect place to train if you are brand new, or a world champion. You will have the highest level of instruction in a 5-star facility.Icing on the cake, everyone is nice!

Went here for an 11:00 No Gi class on a Monday as I was travelling from Australia with a friend who also trains and we wanted to get some BJJ in. The space is amazing and everyone was super friendly, the No Gi class was awesome. I highly recommend dropping in and see coach and the staff and doing a trial class if you live in the area and are thinking about starting BJJ.
