Wow!! What an amazing experience we’ve had in getting a puppy from Zendoxies!! Leigha is passionate about this breed and not only wants to produce healthy pups but also wants to make good matches with forever homes. She is a wealth of information about doxies which she shares freely. She is great with before/during/after communications throughout the whole process. Our pup Mo is healthy, calm (for a puppy), curious, loving and fun. Because of Leigha’s early training he tolerates nail grooming, ear cleaning and teeth brushing with little push back. He also came home with us turf trained. I will forever be grateful for finding Zendoxies and would recommend it for anyone looking for a doxie pup!!

We loved working with Zendoxies! This is our first dachshund and she helped us feel so prepared! Not only that but when our puppy was ready to come home she had already been working on crate and potty training! We have had a great experience and love our new little addition so much!

Leigha has been a joy to work with. I cannot recommend her and her puppies enough. She is highly professional, provides outstanding care for her pups, as well as exceptional socialization and training experiences for her puppies. Her welping and socialization areas are clean, stimulating for the dogs, safe, and of the highest quality. We brought Oakley home to Lafayette Indiana on Saturday. I have had 6 dogs in my life, raising 5 from puppy--Oakley is by far the easiest and most prepared to come home puppy I have ever had. She slept through the night the first night, quietly, and in her crate. She is already walking easily and confidently on a slip lead, making friends with her big brothers (a golden and another mini doxie), and playing with all of us. She is an absolute gem and I'm thrilled to the gills to have expanded our family by four feet...paws. Thank you Leigha for all you do to add sweet, big, playful pups to bring so much joy in the world. If you're on the fence about a pup from Zendoxies, this is your sign: DO IT!

It’s hard to describe the level of professionalism and dedication that Leigha brings to the Dachshund community. From birth to bringing our puppy home we didn’t miss a single moment. She keeps you updated and shares every detail going on. She’s upfront and honest which I personally appreciated so much. We went in thinking that a male was going to be our best bet but after a visit to Leigha’s it was apparent that a female was coming home. Leigha took the time out of her busy schedule to allow my young kids to play with the puppies and see who would fit us best. My kids had a blast and I’m sure Leigha and the puppies needed naps afterwards. We appreciate all the time Leigha and her family put into these puppies. It shows and our girl is definitely excelling because of it. For anyone looking I would highly recommend Leigha. She knows her stuff and it truly shows. Thank you Leigha!

I would recommend anyone looking for a doxie to consider one of Leigha’s pups! They have incredible temperaments, are socialized and well adjusted. She is particular about genetics and lineage, ensuring that every litter is of utmost quality. Each pup is impeccably cared for and loved well before they are sent to their new homes. Our new pal Copper is a dream come true.

Leigha is incredible. The process from start to finish (even though it still isn’t over as she still is always around to answer my texts and questions) was so incredibly smooth. Her knowledge is unmatched and I am so grateful for her and my new little guy. Worth every dollar. I can’t recommend Zendoxies enough!

If you’re looking for a dachshund from someone who truly cares about her dogs, Leigha is the one. The amount of work she puts into raising her puppies is amazing. They are well socialized, started on crate and potty training, and clearly raised with so much love. I’ve gotten multiple dachshunds from her and the experience has always been wonderful. I will always recommend her to anyone looking for a dachshund.

After many months of waiting, today was the day that we met our baby girl Daisy Ann!! A good friend recommended Leigha Zender, owner of Zendoxies, which is in Hasting Michigan. We talked with her a few times last summer and knew she was the perfect one to help us on our journey to puppy parenthood. There was so much great communication at each point in the process. Our puppy was born in October and Leigha started weekly live video chat sessions so that we would watch our puppy grow. She sent us tons of videos and articles on raising and training our puppy and was always available to answer any questions we had. She maintains a very clean and very nurturing environment for the puppies to flourish. It was such a great experience that we have already committed to getting Daisy a little sister this fall. We highly recommend Leigha and Zendoxies!

Leigh does an incredible job. I would definitely recommend her and ZenDoxies to anyone who loves dachshunds. Thank you for all you did and continue to do. We will most likely be back for another pup.

We feel so incredibly lucky to have found Leigha! We picked up our sweet Skip, and he has been the perfect addition to our family. He is phenomenal with young kids, which was incredibly important to us. He has quickly become our two-year-old’s shadow, and the two of them are already the best of buds. From the moment we submitted our application, Leigha’s communication truly stood out. Throughout the entire process, she sent frequent updates, hosted video calls, and shared so many pictures. We honestly don’t know how she does it all, but we are beyond appreciative. We couldn’t be happier with Skip or our experience and would highly recommend Leigha to anyone looking for an amazing breeder!

As a Michigan local, I feel so lucky to have found Leigha at Zendoxies. We recently brought home our first puppy from her, and he has been a joy from day one. It’s clear she is an expert dachshund breeder—our pup was already turf-trained and socialized, which made his transition into a home with two young kids and a Lab incredibly easy. Whether you are here in MI or looking from out of state, I can't recommend her enough for anyone wanting a healthy, well-adjusted addition to their family.

It was a great experience. I found my breeder! After my phone call to inquire about a pup, I felt secure. Leigha is very knowledgeable and cares very much about the dogs and breed. Upon picking up our new addition, it as great to see where he had been living and thriving for 10 weeks and meeting the parents was a major plus! We look forward to watching our Oliver grow and will be back in the future I am sure, since we are a dachshund family and love the breed. This is our 6th Dachshund and 1st from Zendoxies. This by far, has been the best experience out of the 6. I have appreciated all the info given and follow up.

Leigha is a great breeder. I highly recommend her. She is very professional and her pups are very well trained when you get them. She works really hard raising great puppies with good personalities and temperament. She educates you on things to buy, articles that are very beneficial on training and raising them. Very up front with everything. I have had 5 dachshunds now and she was the only one that has ever taken the time to really educate us. Again, I would highly recommend her for getting your fur baby. ❤️❤️❤️

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Leigha. It was clear from the very first interaction how passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely loving she and her family are toward their dogs. The puppies are raised with so much care, attention, and affection, and it truly shows in their temperament and health. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and every question we had was answered with honesty and patience. You can tell this is not “just a business” — it’s a true labor of love. We couldn’t be happier with our sweet girl and highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a happy, healthy, well-loved miniature dachshund.

We have been lucky enough to add two Zendoxies to our household. We have Zoe a red brindle piebald short-haired and Lainey a black and tan dapple longhaired. They both are so much fun with wonderful personalities. We highly recommend a Zendoxie!

I would recommend zendoxies if you are considering of ever wanting to own a dachshund. She was willing to answer questions in timely manner and the updates on the puppies were more than I could ever asked for. When we went to pick up our fur baby Leigha was welcoming and not rushing us to leave.

Purchased a dachshund from Leigha last Spring and was extremely happy with her care and expertise -- she is a wonderful breeder and person who cares deeply for her pups. It was obvious she spent a lot of time caring for them (playtime, potty training, bonding). Given the breed, it can be hard to find honest folk, but she was incredibly helpful and informative and extremely knowledgeable of the breed. We love our Winston :)

We have always gotten our pets from rescue or the shelter, but when it became clear I could not find a dachshund in rescue that could go to a home with other big dogs, small children and didn't have pre-existing medical conditions, I decided to start looking for a responsible breeder. After weeks of looking into different breeders, I reached out to Leigha. She spent quite bit of time on the phone with me answering questions and clearly described the process and requirements for adopting a puppy from her.She kept us updated and replied promptly to all questions throughout the process. After our puppy was born she held regular group FaceTime sessions with all the prospective parents to update us on their progress. When it came time to pick up our puppy, she was flexible and accommodating with her time. We got to see first hand where her dogs and puppies live and they truly are part of their family. Even though there were a ton of wonderful little dogs running around, everything was clean and smelled fresh. They have dedicated space in her home with plenty of room, inside and out, to run and play. After bringing our baby home 10 months ago, she continues to be available for questions. We are in love with our little dachshund. She is obviously a physically beautiful dog, but she also has a calm and even temperament. She is great with our 2 other big dogs and with our 2 boys (8 and 10). We take her camping and to my sons' games where she interacts with a lot of small children without a problem. Leigha works on crate training before the puppies go to their homes so that made things much easier. Our dog has never demonstrated fear of loud noises (vacuum or fireworks), food, toy or resource guarding, and I have never heard her growl, except when playing with our other dogs.I would get another dog from Zendoxies without hesitation or reservation. She is a responsible and ethical breeder who loves her dogs and puppies like part of her family. I'm impressed with her efforts to breed to improve the breed. If you are apprehensive about using a breeder, like I was, Zendoxies will win your trust and confidence.
