My daughter got her first haircut at Sharkey’s in Avon a few years ago and we still go for routine trims. We have primarily had Kat as our stylist and she is great and I highly recommend her! Other stylists we have had are lovely as well! We love the decor, music, games and playful seating that’s geared towards the toddler and elementary aged clientele. They all seem to love it! After getting a shampoo, condition, trim, quick and beautiful hair style (including a shimmer spray with parental permission), getting her nails painted, a balloon and a sucker, my daughter leaves Sharkey’s feeling like she just had a princess pampering experience! The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, kind and patient with their young clients and parents. The professionalism, attentiveness and patience I’ve seen them exhibit with all clients, especially the really small ones who are having a tough time because they’re so young, nervous and scared is admirable. I definitely recommend Sharkey’s for little one’s first haircuts and many other hair care and styling needs for toddlers and young children.

My daughter is almost 3 and this was only her second haircut. Admittedly, she was already having a rough afternoon when we arrived for her appointment. However, the stylist was so kind and patient. She used the photograph I supplied and tailored it based on my daughter’s face shape and what would look best on her. Overall, the experience was great and we will definitely return!

We always have a great time at sharkeys! Sarena does an incredible job at both cutting hair and making our boys feel so comfortable and secure. They’re certified handfuls and love coming to sharkeys and I love way their cuts look every time. Worth every penny!

Bri was great with both my kids! It was my one year old’s first haircut and she showed him everything she was using before starting. Bri made my 5 year old look and feel like a pampered princess! We were even able to get the kids in earlier than their scheduled appointments which helped ease our day as parents! I highly recommend requesting Bri if she’s available. It was such an easy and fun experience!

Love sharkeys!!! They are so nice and accommodating to those kids that struggle with haircuts. Shout out to Serena she’s been the best! I don’t mind spending a little more for the experience vs going to a fast hair cut place that doesn’t specialize in kids

Rylie was great to work with my son is very shy and we expected him to scream and cry the whole time but he sat quietly in the car and just held mom and dad’s hand. Afterwards he even told her thank you! Will be going back to her for his future hair cuts!
