Uptown dance has become my daughter’s second home for the past 11 years. She absolutely loves being here and the teachers have played a valuable role in shaping her not only as a dancer but as a person. They are incredibly talented and put on shows that are creative and entertaining.We feel so lucky to have found a studio that has given my daughter so many wonderful memories, friendships, and dance experiences. It’s such a special place.

We have enjoyed being at this studio for almost five years. My daughter has made life long friends here. She looks up to the teachers who are very good at what they do.The shows that are put on take a lot of work and volunteers. These shows remind me of something you’d see in Chicago…a lot of surprises through out the show. We always look forward to each recital and my daughter continues to talk about how much she loves this studio. My daughter started ballet here in the Creative Movement class about a year and a half ago. We've had a wonderful experience. Completely new to the world of dance we were not particularly excited to sit through an hour and a half production... even though we wanted to see our daughter. We were very wrong. The first show our daughter participated in was all around excellent and she loves dancing here. Worth every penny. As a new dance family, the only thing we would've like was a bit more guidance. We never felt completely lost, but we certainly felt disoriented our first go through. Would not hesitate to recommend for a family with kids interested in dancing.

We love uptown so much. I have 2 little girls who started there a couple months ago and we have had the most amazing experience there. We have been to other studios in town and uptown dance is by far the best, feel like my girls are actually learning real dance and structure. We cant wait for the fall season to start up, the girls are so excited. Also a little shout out to Lizzie, she is so amazing with all the kids, having them have fun and learning real dance at the same time. She does all these amazing small things with them which I think are so important in them having fun, but the fact that every class she takes the time to make each class so special for each kid is just amazing. The kids love her so much, I love her so much, she does such a great job all around!

We've tried other studios and Uptown Dance is bar far the best. Our daughter enjoys going her and we believe she is getting excellent instruction. The shows Uptown Dance puts on are on par with what you'd find in a professional show. Our only complaint is the difficulty picking up our daughter with the cars parked in the street or circling the block. I can appreciate the desire to be in uptown but access to pickup and drop off is very inconvenient.
