This was a great hair cut experience - wish we had taken our daughter here for her first cut. Fun car chairs, Disney + for the kids to watch during the cut, a shampoo cut/style and dry, plus nail painting - thought the value for the amount provided was pretty solid.Kaileigh was the stylist and she did a great job. Personable. She let me know that layers would be $15 extra, which was fine, but I'd recommend they update their online booking engine to make that a selectable add-on.

Kaleigh is phenomenal. She took the time with our son who put up initially quite a fight but with Kaleigh's guidance he eventually tolerated it and walked out with a nice fresh cut. We tried two barbershops before and she is by far the best barber around. We can't wait to book with her next time!

It was such an incredible experience...our Son is always scared of the clippers but the ambiance and additional distractions (I mean this in a good way) blanked him out of the fears. The staff was extremely nice and courteous and I can't thank them enough for being as patient as they were. We came to Sharkey’s in Columbia for our daughter’s first haircut with Kailleigh. It was the best first haircut we could have hoped for. The salon is so cute and kid friendly. My girl got to choose her seat and pick a show on tv. Kaileigh was incredibly patient and kind. We got the first haircut package which came with a certificate , lock of hair, and photo. My daughter also got a balloon and lollipop. Stress free environment with so much patience for my little wiggle worm. Highly recommend Sharkey’s and Kailleigh.

We had an appointment for my baby brother, who has autism and Down syndrome. Unfortunately, when we arrived, he was very overstimulated by the environment, and he wasn’t able to go through with the haircut that day.Kaileigh handled the situation with so much patience, kindness, and compassion that it truly meant everything to us. Even though she was fully booked, she took the time to understand his needs. She was incredibly accommodating and even offered to give me her number and come in any time, before or after hours, whenever my brother is having a good day and feels comfortable enough to try again.She also allowed him to stay and play with the cars while she worked on another client.We haven’t even had the haircut yet, but based on how Kaileigh handled this situation alone, she absolutely deserves five stars. Employees like her make such a difference for families with special needs. Sharkey’s is lucky to have her.

Absolutely love Sharkey’s…It was my first time there recommended by a friend in Virginia. My son had been to cookie cutters in Fulton prior before and we weren’t truly impressed but we had Kayleigh at Sharkeys and I truly couldn’t thank her enough! We went here for the first time yesterday and had a wonderful experience! From the cool cars you get to choose to sit in, to picking what your kiddo wants to watch.
