I switched to this facialist after feeling like my previous spot was heading in a direction that didn’t really align with what I was looking for, and I’m honestly so glad I made the change. From my very first appointment, I could tell the experience was completely different in the best way.Every facial is fully customized, and she takes the time to walk you through exactly what she’s planning to do and why. It feels thoughtful and intentional rather than routine. I also really appreciate that she doesn’t charge for “add-ons”(like dermaplane being an extra charge etc.) everything is included based on what your skin actually needs, which is such a refreshing approach.What stands out the most is how genuine she is. There’s zero pressure to buy products or try additional treatments. It never feels salesy, just someone who truly cares about your skin and overall well being :)I genuinely look forward to every appointment, which says a lot. As an added bonus, she sets her pricing so tipping isn’t expected, which makes the whole experience feel even more transparent and stress free.Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, honest, and truly client focused.

She was personable and I felt comfortable with her the minute I walked in. Her products smelled good and were gentle on my skin. She took the time to look up ingredients that I was allergic to and if it was vegan or not. Also gave great prevention routine recommendations. Definitely recommend her ❤️

I had the best experience getting dermaplaning and a light chemical peel done by Misti and I love the results. My skin feels so smooth, looks brighter, and has that fresh, healthy glow I’ve been trying to get. She was super professional the whole time—explained each step, made sure I was comfortable, and tailored everything to my skin so it didn’t feel harsh at all. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing and actually cares about getting you the best results. If you’ve been thinking about trying dermaplaning or a peel, I recommend it. I recently visited The Skin Hygienist for my first-ever facial and back facial, and it was exactly what I needed. Misty is incredibly professional and you can tell she truly cares about her clients' well-being. It was so nice to finally take some time for myself! The Swedish-style massage she included for the face, back, and arms was a total highlight—I left feeling completely relaxed. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Update February 2025: I’m still going to Misty every 4-8 weeks. She’s amazing and helping me reach my skin care goals. I’ve done multiple treatments with her. She is wonderful at suggesting what to do next. One time my skin wasn’t ready for a treatment so she pivoted our appointment and did a mini hydrating facial instead at a very fair price. She could have easily continued with the more expensive treatment and made money off of me but she did what was right for my skin. I went back today for the original treatment and am so happy she suggested I waited. A few of my favorite products are purchased from her (I inquired-she did not push any products on me) and she had them to me within two days. The reason I’m updating my review is because I rely on honest reviews to choose places I spend my money. I did not know Misty before going to her place of business. I am all about supporting small businesses so I am doing my part to let others know she’s someone you definitely should try out for your skincare needs. I decided to try Misty after seeing all of her 5 star reviews. She did not disappoint. I had a custom facial with her and she really cared about what I was using at home. Misty was energetic, fun to chat with, and very down to earth. I like that she customizes her facials and doesn’t up charge while doing the facial. She also does not push you to buy her products after unless she suggests something and even then she does not pressure you. The worse thing that can happen after a relaxing facial is the aesthetician turning into a high pressure salesperson trying to have you buy all the products they used, she will not do that to you. She’s very open to over the counter products and won’t try to get you to completely change your routine to high end, expensive products. She is also a no tip facility so the price listed is what you pay. I decided to try out a micro needling package with her next and she promptly emailed me a few options with pricing. She discounts her services with a package but does not make you pre pay. That way you’re not locked into the micro needling package if you don’t like it after the first one. I was sold once she offered this. Her Instagram is really entertaining as well. Her online booking is convenient and she will communicate with you to tell you about the online forms that you need to fill out before your facial. I’m truly looking forward to my upcoming services and improving my skin with the help of Misty.

I booked the image pro skin analysis and facial. Misty was very thorough and informative when explaining the analysis results. I appreciated receiving an objective analysis of the current state of my facial skin. She reviewed the list of products I use and made product recommendations. The facial was pleasant and my skin felt great afterward. I plan on returning to try other services in the future.
