It is about meeting you at where you are currently at, & challenging you physically & mentally to achieve more. I joined VF in March 2023 initially to improve my overall fitness but being part of the VF community has given me so much more than that. Not only has attending sessions become part of my routine. I look forward to them every week and seeing improvement in my strength week on week gives me motivation to keep going. Not only does VF have a brilliant coach who guides and supports you, it provides a brilliant community of women who encourage each other through every step of your fitness journey! Having a coach that takes the time to speak to each client on a one to one basis, provide different exercise programmes every month and help to support you in every aspect in and out of the gym is a rarity and one I do not want to take for granted. With VF I have reached goals I never thought would have been possible. My health, fitness and strength have improved in more ways than one. I will always be thankful for the positive impact Volume Fitness has had on my life. For anyone who is nervous about starting a gym please give Volume Fitness a go. I was extremely fearful about starting and nearly chickened out at the last minute because I'm not a gym person at all and I thought my age (58 when I joined) would be a big negative factor. But I pushed myself to go and I genuinely feel it is the best decision I made. The Volume Fitness community of women is so supportive. Without hesitation, I give Volume Fitness and Paul Keenan 5 stars, a solid 10/10. I joined Volume Fitness in November 2023 after seeing it on Facebook, thinking that I would try it out for a few weeks. It is now July 2023, and I'm still going. I can't believe it because I normally never stick at anything. I just love Volume Fitness and look forward to every session in the studio. When I joined, my health was very poor. I had no strength or energy, limited flexibility, and slept very poorly. Before joining the VF community I went for a well check with Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke and had a few red flags including high blood pressure, high resting heart rate, high cholesterol, high body fat ratio, and muscle mass that could be improved. I went back for another NICHS well check this week, and my health has improved so much that the person conducting the check wanted to give me a hug!! At a time when some friends my age (59) have to take blood pressure medication, my blood pressure is perfect. Having lost almost 10 kilos since my first health check, my body fat has lowered so much that I have moved from red flag status to within a normal range. My resting heart rate has lowered significantly and my cholesterol is going in the right direction. My visceral fat has decreased, my muscle mass has increased, I am sleeping soundly which I didn't think was possible, and it feels so good. It is all down to Volume Fitness. Paul is a fantastic PT who has expert knowledge and knows exactly how far to push you. Even though the exercises can be tough, they are varied and enjoyable. Paul constantly, quietly and unobtrusively, assesses your ability to carry out the exercises and will never push you to an unachievable level. He caters the exercises to each client's individual needs. He gets it just right! He really goes above and beyond for all of his clients, and he walks the walk. He does everything he asks us to do with great passion and belief. Gareth is also a wonderful PT we work with occasionally in the studio. The women I have met in VF are fantastic. They are so supportive. There is no judgement, and I feel very safe. I love the journey I am on. It is so much more than weight loss. That is just a bonus. It's a lifestyle choice that brings health and vitality. I have a renewed zest for life. I can't wait to see what the following months will bring. I'm looking forward to the future. I dread to think what my life would look like now had I not made the decision to join Volume Fitness. For anyone who feels too old, too unfit, too self-conscious, too afraid to join (as I did in November 2023), I say give it a go. It will be one of the best decisions you ever make. Volume Fitness is a place where health matters. It is a place where great things happen. It's magic! Less

I do a Tuesday and Thursday morning. Different mornings available and evenings too. Every group is small and also online coaching if its not convenient or too far to travel. So no excuses!The huge benefit with having small groups is Paul can show us individually what to do as we are all at different stages. We are all female, all ages, shapes and sizes. One girl is pregnant. Some have injurys or illness. We all have different reasons for being there and our goals are not the same. Paul's motivational skills are just amazing. His knowledge shows how passionate he is. Everyone that walks through the door is made feel very welcome, no one judges.We have group calls where Paul has clearly done a lot of research. He encourages us to set ourselves targets and is always right behind us guiding us along. We do weekly stats and log our food. The calories etc set are realistic. I have signed up to many different diets, stick at it for a few months, crave the foods I miss, give up and weight goes back on and some. Not only have I lost weight, my shape has changed and I have dropped almost 2 dress sizes. We also have a Saturday morning Studio Session. Totally different class, different rounds etc. Every 12 weeks we have our max testing. We are not trying to beat anyone else, just our previous results.For me seeing progress pictures every so often is a great incentive. Other gyms do photo shoots where people get their make up done, tan on, hair done and new flattering outfits. Now obviously they are proud of their achievements and fair play. For me scrolling through social media seeing these pictures I can understand their happiness but it does not appeal to me or give me the desire to join.I can honestly say messaging Paul in September was the best message I have ever sent. I have my spark back. Like everyone I have my bad days I am learning every day how to overcome these. I love the studio, I love the girls, my best friend has joined. Oh and anyone who knows me knows I love Paul. Legend, changed my life. I know I have done the work but I couldn't or would struggle without him . I have a long way to go but I am moving in the right direction.The ball is in your court. Dont be like me and put it off or say you cant do it. I couldn't, I did and now I can. The longest I have ever lasted previously with a gym is 3 months (I only actually went for about half that time) but because he offers online and in-person programmes it really suits my lifestyle. I attend his live workouts 5 days a week (which I wouldn't be able to do if I had to attend in-person) and all from my home - no issues with child care or travelling!
