We have completed 3 major projects with the Marks Building Group over the past few years - and now, we essentially have a brand new house. We did a complete exterior renovation, including adding an overhang to our front door, then a complete interior renovation (minus the kitchen) - then finally the kitchen. We continue to work with the Marks Building Group for numerous reasons: 1) Quality of work - bar none, their attention to detail, craftmanship and work ethic is outstanding. 2) Managing Expectations - We have an older house, so we were bound to encounter the unexpected; each time we did, the Marks Building Group worked with us to understand our options, explain what can and should be done - and they even planned for it when designing their plan/budget. A renovation is extremely stressful at the best of times - and the team always went over and above to keep us informed, help us understand where they were in the process, understand any issues they encountered and minimized any cost/time overruns by reprioritizing and keeping things moving. Even with sub-contractors and trades-people, they always stayed close, never pointed fingers and took accountability to keep the job on track regardless of what was happening. 3) Understanding and Communicating - Every day they were in touch. Every week we would have a more through walk-through and they shifted their communications to meet our needs. If we wanted to be more involved, they did so. If we were busy with work or life - they took accountability and drove the projects forward. They were always available via phone, text, e-mail, etc. for all of our questions and to address any concerns we had. 4) Pricing - The Marks Group is not the cheapest in town - but they are by no means the most expensive. Their pricing relative to their quality, craftmanship, communication and commitment were absolutely - without question - worth every single penny. The provided an incredible finished product, facilitated an easy-as-possible process throughout the renovation, and were accountable throughout. The peace-of-mind that that provided - was worth it and we continue to go back to them as a result. We continue to work with the Marks Building Group - and will do so regardless of the job (big or small); and every time they exceed our expectations. Our house in essentially brand new now - and should we find ourselves in need any building needs - in this house - or for any future plans - The Marks Building Group will be our first call. We've known Clint for 3 years now and he is our go-to for any home project we need done. He's done a basement renovation, a whole kitchen overhaul, deck work and other jobs for us. He is a unicorn in the industry, being reasonable in price and completes the job on time. Very little fazes him; he has a solution for any hiccup that comes up, keeping our stress levels down and managing budget constraints. Mark's Building Group built my house from ground up in 2024. Demolition began in the spring and we were moved back in by the 1st of November. I can not believe this project only took 8 months to accomplish. To say we are happy with Marks Building Group is an understatement. From concept to construction and everything in between they were impeccable. The quality of work is second to none. Clint took this project personally like he does with all projects. No aspects of the job were complete without Clint's seal of approval. Clint's 25 plus years of experience really showed through during this project.
