Made my appointment and couldn’t wait because i suffered from SD and it has become worst. I drove a hour and 30 minutes for my appt with 2 kids under 2. Showed up on time and door was LOCKED and no answered my calls. I knocked on the door and waited and no response. I wasted gas and took a half day. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Then have the audacity to respond to my review but not my calls. ridiculous.

My daughter has been battling seborrheic dermatitis (SD) for years! After spending thousands on different local dermatologists and treatment modalities, I stumbled upon Dr B’s profile on IG and saved it for possible future use! Received a call from a dear friend who told me she went to the “bomb dermatologist” , so I made the appointment! I was very impressed with Dr B and her assistant! Dr B is very knowledgeable (which all specialist should be)! A knowledgeable professional with great bed side manners is a plus for me! The treatment prescribed was followed, and now SD is under control! I will recommend everyone that has any dermatological issue! Plan to stay busy!!! Have a great year Dr B & co!!!

Lux is "thee" place to go if you are a person of color. The facility is chic and well maintained. The staff is pleasant, professional and offers outstanding customer service. Dr. B is knowledgeable and clearly practices what she teaches as she and her staff are gorgeous with nearly flawless skin. Dr. B addressed my concerns having melasma (dark discoloration around my eyes, nose and cheeks) due to genetics and aging. She prescribed a skin care regimen that has enhanced the condition of my skin, brightened and improved the tone and eliminated most of the discoloration. I find the prices to be reasonable and I will be returning for additional services.

I came to Lux Dermatology as I had some hyperpigmentation and melasma concerns. I researched a doctor who has experience and expertise in dealing specifically with my skin type. Dr B and her team were able to quickly accommodate me and prescribed a treatment plan that is doing wonders for my melanated skin. I am a patient for life! How refreshing to find a doctor that actually listened and was willing to spend time with me! My first dermatologist diagnosed me with a scarring Alopecia and spent 5 min with me before sending me out the door. Not here. I came for a second opinion and had at least 30 minutes of the doctors time and attention. I left feeling heard and well treated. Highly recommend the office!

Dr. B is incredible. I've been seeing her since before Lux Dermatology opened. During every visit, I was met with a professional yet friendly demeanor. My recent visit at Lux Dermatology was exceptional. Dr. B went above and beyond by addressing concerns that I hadn't planned on bringing up myself. Let it suffice to say that there's a reason I followed her from her previous place of work to Lux, although she is no longer within network for me through my insurance. I paid out of pocket but the quick availability of appointments and level of care were worth it. I also have to take a moment and commend George at the Lux office for his exceptional service, compassion and care. George always followed up, did everything he could to help, and made my experience as seamless as possible. It truly makes such a difference when the entire team cares - from the office staff to the doctors. Well done, team Lux.
