I can't begin to tell you how awesome this entire team is. Who sends an email to their tax planner during tax season and gets a response within 5 minutes? I do. Who sends 10 emails in a day and gets everything responded to within the same day? I do.That is EPL. Not only do they have fantastic communication, they are friendly and thoughtful. They have notified me of great tax strategies that have saved me a ton of money. In 2025 alone, they showed me how I can donate thousands to charity rather than the government. If that's not a win, I don't know what is.They are absolutely stellar. I've worked with the owner and all the way down the chain. Everyone has the same level of diligence and care.

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the tax return service provided by EPL. My recent experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and the subsequent handling of my concerns was even worse.The individuals I dealt with, Tino and Alex, demonstrated a shocking lack of competence and attention to detail.They will tell you that they will compile a list of all options, but give you the most basic tax filing options are are which is married filing, single, and married filing separate, which anyone with a TurboTax account can do themselves Furthermore, I had set up a phone call prior to working with them to ensure that my question involving a community state 8958 form would be presented to me For student loan concerns that I had and Alex confirmed that was true however, when push comes to shove, they wanted an upfront payment to be sent to them prior to working tax Work, which makes zero sense, if I’m paying you, regardless, you should present me with all optionsTo make matters worse, when I attempted to address these serious issues with the CEO, the response was utterly dismissive and unprofessional. He told me he felt uncomfortable working with me because I had questions…about taxes make them feel uncomfortable. Who feels uncomfortable working with someone when I’m trying to file my taxes and pay you for a service that you’re supposed to provide…EPLs tax return service is a complete joke, and their customer service, especially at the executive level, is appalling. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache, the financial errors, and the insulting treatment.
