We had a photo shoot with our 2 dogs Ben, patch.Jonh was brilliant with them, first of all the dogs roamed about having a sniff, Jon explained everything to us,Ben was brilliant enjoyed the treats, was really chilled with the camera, patch on the other hand was more interested in the blue ball , patch didn't like the camera, but Jon was very patient and got patch to sniff it, john waited till patch was comfortable with everything before taking pictures.Jon took brilliantly photos even of patch great experience with our lovely two dogs and such a wonderful memory to have of them .There was lots of pictures to choose from quite hard to make our mind up but whatever art work you would like a portrait or coloured one or black & white or a fun one Jon can do it, on canvas or printed photos,Well worth the money.Below are our chosen ones of our dogs Ben liked the bubbles ,

I recently had a professional photoshoot done with my little, slightly anxious, dog Spike. Jon was very calm, spend lots of time with us both to make sure Spike was settled and calm, then did some amazing shots, precisely what I wanted and, in some cases, better than I had anticipated! After initial editing, we viewed them all and made a selection. I'm waiting for the final result, but the whole experience was nice, friendly, calm, professional and pleasant (apart from paying for it, as it's not cheap!). On the whole, I feel that this money well spent on an incredible memory of my little dog! Can't wait to put it all on the wall at home.

WOW! Finally, an amazing dog friendly studio!How Jon managed to get our cockapoo to“sit nicely” & catch treats when told was amazingThe most nervous dog will soon be running about and stopping for the odd, fabulous, photograph, catching treats or chasing bubbles!As for the photographs, OMG! They are sensational What to choose? In reality, you would want them all, but you have to train your brain to overcome your heart! I can see us returning to obtain more beautiful images of our dog and of course the free coffee, very, very soon!Thank you Jon

Our session with Jon was fun and considerate. Jon was excellent with the dogs letting them take things at their own pace. Time is worked into the beggining of the session to allow the dogs to get comfortable and familar with the space and Jon is excellent at working with the dogs reactions and managing them gently when necessary. One of my pooches was finding it particularly uncomfortable and he adapted to work with and around her to build trust, getting her to relax and create some stunning images. Highly recommend this experience for you and your furry friends.

I wanted an image to capture the character of my elderly Jack Russell Terrier, Jack Muscle. Although I had so many photos, none that I took captured him fully. Jack and I were welcomed into Soul Dog Studios; a relaxed and calm space that meant that both of us were at ease straight away. Jack took to Jon very quickly, who was excellent at helping Jack to express his character in front of the camera. Although I don't like having my photograph taken, Jon's approach meant that I felt relaxed in doing so; he captured a shot of Jack and I that epitomises our connection. All of the shortlisted photographs of Mr Muscle were excellent quality and it was a very emotional experience looking through these and deciding on the finals. I'm grateful to Soul Dog Studios for this opportunity to capture the playful, stubborn, and loving character of Jack Muscle and for creating such precious images. The artwork is beautiful and the finish is of a very high quality. A range of sizes of artwork are available, and I selected pieces that fit together very well on the small wall space in my cottage. Jon was helpful in guiding decision making on how to place photographs and display artwork. Thank you!

John went at a good pace, taking our advice on how best to manage both dogs, and allowed them to feel comfortable and settled. Had a photography session with Jon @ Soul Dog studios this week and I cannot recommend him enough.I am currently going through a lot at the moment and Jon was extremely patient with me being rather “distant” in the run up to the day. Jon genuinely cares and wants to get wonderful interactions between you and your beloved dog(s) but everything is extremely natural and relaxed. If you’d rather not be in the photos then you need not worry about how your pet will behave, the whole setup is brilliant. Dogs are given plenty of time to feel settled, explore the studio and get comfy before anything happens, and Jon himself is brilliant. You could literally sit and watch him work with your pup and the results will be stunning.Plenty of artwork options. I can’t wait to see my prints. Best day ever.

Jon was absolutely brilliant and we would highly recommend Soul Dog Studios.Eddie, our old gentleman, is 15 and Jon couldn't have been kinder, patient and more thoughtful when it came to making him shine, feel comfortable and enjoy the session. We had a fantastic experience at Soul Dog Studios. Our boy is just a puppy so Jon took plenty of time to allow him to explore the environment and calmly settle. He helped our boy get comfortable with all the equipment and camera flashes etc which meant when he started shooting our boy was super confident and was happy to pose! Jon captured the most amazing photos, he really captured our boy’s personality and the photos brought a tear to my eye. Jon is a dog whisperer! We had the pleasure of doing a photoshoot today with Soul Dog Studios of our older doggie and it was a wholesome and super fun experience. Our canine dependant was super at ease with Jon, and looked beautiful in the photos. He captured a mix of photos that were both playful and artistic. I usually don't like photos of myself, but the pictures he took with me, doggo and husband are so beautiful and encapsulate the love and connection we have.I can't wait to display these photos, this was a wonderful experience for all of us!

Me and my gorgeous senior dog had the most amazing experience at Soul dog Studios. Jon captured the most beautiful story telling images of my beloved dog. He was so kind and gentle towards my dog making him feel safe and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. During my experience Jon talked through all the process, got to know my dog, captured beautiful photos, gave me and my mum complimentary voucher for a free drink at a nearby cafe and then gave us a cinematic view of all the images captured which brought tears to my eyes. I’m so excited to see my framed storyboard.Thank you for giving me and my dog a special memory to last a lifetime.

We visited the studio for some pictures to be taken of our dog and us. Jon, the photographer was absolutely a top guy, so friendly and very welcoming. He made my dog and us feel very welcome. Everything was explained to us in good detail and the pictures were absolutely amazing. Jon is so very talented and know his craft very well. We didn't go ahead with having any wall art on this occasion, but it is good to know he has some amazing pictures and when we ready we will be ordering our prints. When he showed us all the pictures he took in a slide show, it brought a tear to my eye, they were absolutely detailed and very beautifully taken. This is a studio that captures the connection between you and your beloved fur baby in beautiful detail. There is free parking on site here too and it's easy to find. Soul dog Studios has done us very proud.

Had a great experience with Jon at our photoshoot. Made my dog Molly feel really comfortable and at ease, with plenty of time for her to get to know him and the studio before starting the shoot, so that we got the best photos. Would highly recommend
