Tried the truck parked outside of Abita. I looked at the menu and almost ordered one of everything… wish I would have gone with my gut. What I did order was delicious!!! Those boudin egg rolls were top notch. The guy at the window was also friendly. Good stuff all around.

We had Creole Tomateaux at their food truck in Slidell at the craft fair. Absolutely delicious! The portions were hot and generous. The staff was so nice. We ordered the steak and cheese po’boy, fried green tomatoes, and shrimp tacos. The green tomatoes were crispy with a bit of spice. They were perfect. The steak and cheese was just the right amount for me and another to share. The bread was so fresh tasting and the steak was actually slices of perfectly cooked ribeye. It was heaven. The shrimp tacos were wonderful. The tortilla had a nice crunch and warm delicious cheesy center. They were eaten so fast I didn’t get to try any! If you ever see this pop up food truck, definitely stop whatever you’re doing and get some authentic Creole cooking!

I had a few minutes in Mandeville and I was starving! Stopped at Creole Tomateaux’s and ordered the blackened shrimp tacos. They were made to order in minutes and it were perfect. The portion size of two tacos with the grilled and blackened shrimp were tender juicy and flavorful, Every bite was a symphony of deliciousness. I polished them off and was completely satiated and well-pleased with the friendly and charming service and absolutely amazing tacos. Highly recommend!!
