Our daughter just finished an incredible week at service camp, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this organization.For one week, she and the other campers spent their days serving the Miami community through meaningful projects, learning the value of giving back, and working hard. Then each evening, they returned to what can only be described as the ultimate retreat—a home filled with laughter, friendship, games, and what felt like one giant pajama party. It was the perfect balance of working hard and having fun.What makes this program so special is the heart behind it. They have created a true home where kids can recharge, build friendships, reflect on their day, and grow together. It is a safe, welcoming space with a mission that is making a real difference in our community.Our son attended this same week-long camp a few years ago, and now our daughter has experienced it too. As a mom of both a boy and a girl, I can honestly say they both absolutely loved every minute of it. They came home tired, fulfilled, more confident, and with a deeper appreciation for serving others.Organizations like this are doing God’s work in Miami, and they deserve our support. Thank you for giving our kids the opportunity to serve, grow, and discover the joy that comes from putting others first.If you’re considering sending your child, don’t hesitate. Update 2026: My daughter attended again this year, and what continues to amaze me is the transformation that happens in just one week. She comes home with a greater sense of gratitude, compassion, and awareness of the lives and challenges of others. The conversations and questions sparked by these experiences stay with her for months, shaping how she sees the world and her role in it.Along with community service, the program includes CPR training, teamwork activities, and inspiring speakers. She always makes wonderful friends, has an incredible time, and creates memories that last well beyond the week. More than anything, this experience helps young people develop a deeper appreciation for what they have, a desire to serve others, and a clearer understanding of what truly matters in life.2025: A fantastic and meaningful experience for teens! Set in a beautiful farmhouse, this community service camp helps them connect with nature, meet new friends, and volunteer in ways that truly matter. Through inspiring talks, creative activities like artwork, and hands-on service, they’re exposed to the realities many people face—especially those in need or living with disabilities—and learn to think beyond themselves. Even small things, like taking turns to shower, teach empathy and mindfulness. A powerful way to grow and give back.
