First time trying Hangry Joe's, got the chicken fingers combo which is good. The lady at the register at 5pm was super nice and helpful in explaining the menu. It also wasn't a long wait time but wasn't a busy time, will more than likely be coming back!

I'm the only person in the place!Okay, the chicken tenders are awesome. I got the medium seasoning, and let me tell you, if you think you want hot, order medium. Medium is plenty hot, and I say this as a guy who loves spicy hot things. Seriously, my lips are burning and my nose is running.I got a 3-tender order. I stupidly also ordered an extra tender. I shouldnt have bothered, because these chicken tenders are HUGE. I've only finished two of my four tenders, and i'm stuffed.I got the lemon sauce. Trust me on this: you WANT the lemon sauce. It is delicious and addicting. I seriously want a jug of it to take home. Order the lemon sauce. I repeat: order the lemon sauce. This is my new go-to chicken place.

I visited Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken & Wings in Rockford and had a little hiccup with the app when trying to use the BOGO sando deal. I ended up paying full price, but when I came back the next day, Sunshine went above and beyond to make things right. and her kindness really stood out.The food itself was fantastic — the sandos were absolutely delicious. The “Hot” spice level was very spicy, but in the best way: bold, flavorful, and addictive. The waffle fries were the perfect side.Big thanks to Sunshine for her excellent customer service and for turning the situation around. We left happy and satisfied, and I’ll definitely be back for more!
