At the time of service, I would have given Dan 5 stars because he was super kind and seemed really helpful. However, my insurance has been pretty terrible to work with over the last year and I couldn't get ahold of him or his office this whole time to potentially switch. I finally met with a different Insurance Broker, and he was baffled I was on the plan I had because I qualify for much better coverage at a much lower price on the marketplace. I had specifically been advised away from the marketplace and instead got a United Health PPO because "I would make too much in the year to get subsidy". Except I just found out that that ceiling amount is WAY higher than we are making and I was never at risk for disqualifying. I also have been using my health insurance just as much I told Dan I would. As in, I am not drastically increasing the amount of doctor visits I have. I go as often as I planned and communicated with him. But because the plan I got put on is probably for someone who never ever goes to the doctor, most of my appointments have been denied in some way or another. Not sure what happened and why I was steered towards this plan, but it resulted in me overpaying by about 5K this year and getting denied coverage for so many things. Less
