I have been to Lisa in her capacity as a physical therapist for dry needling which provided immense relief in the hip, shoulder and neck. The dry needling reduced the pain, and relaxed the muscles which improved my balance and ability to exercise without pain.

Lisa was a literal lifesaver! She helped me recover from a very stubborn pinched nerve that was causing me severe pain. Emory Spine had a 4+ week (!!) waiting list just to start Physical Therapy there; Lisa was able to schedule me same-week. She was very helpful and encouraging, working 1:1 with me both for pain management as well as strengthening exercises. She was extraordinarily responsive via both text and email, as well as graciously accommodating when it came to scheduling (or re-scheduling). I would highly recommend her if you need a Physical Therapist, and she will be my first call should I need one again in the future.

I highly recommend Lisa. I’m a pediatric occupational therapist - I put my body through a lot everyday at work and age is becoming a factor (I’m in my 50’s). Lisa has helped me find my core and activate it again. I can get to off the floor more quickly than before and crawl, run, and jump with the little ones again. She has also helped ease my pain and discomfort from overusing other muscles when I lost my core (from 2 traumatic c-sections) after my children were born. Best my body has felt in a long time. Lisa has experience, knowledge, and passion for her craft - she has the science knowledge but she also has the ‘art’ down as an expert and master clinician. Go see the PT that other therapists see for their aching bodies!!! Always professional and extremely knowledgeable.

I have been a patient of Lisa Harlan's at Core Health Pilates since fall 2022. Problems with sciatica pain and low back discomfort brought me to her. She has proven to be an excellent physical therapist who has addressed my needs very successfully all the while maintaining a kind, caring and professional manner. I rarely have trouble with my sciatic now and I continue to see Lisa for occasional treatments. Lisa is a skilled therapist who is very in tune to her patient's needs and concerns. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking an exceptional physical therapist.

I love Core Health Pilates! Before trying Core Health, I was a little (a lot?) intimidated by reformer pilates, but Lisa is thoughtful and encouraging. I started visiting her to regain strength after a back injury, and now I can't imagine my routine without Core Health. I have been working with Lisa @ Core Health Pilates for a few months. I visited at the recommendation of my physical therapist who thought that it would be beneficial for me. I was skeptical (and anxious) at first - because I am the least flexible person in the world and dreaded being put on a machine that would 'stretch me'. Boy, was I wrong. Lisa is a great instructor and really transitioned me at a speed that was comfortable and tailored to my ability. Without a doubt, Pilates with Lisa has helped many aspects of my wellbeing. My him no longer hurts, my golf swing is better, and my posture and core strength as improved 100%. I am far from hyperflexible, but I am making real progress faster than anything else I have tried. I truly appreciate how much Lisa has helped and I look forward to even more improvements to come.

I came to Lisa after finding out I have a sequestered disc in my back. My chiropractor recommended I start Pilates in addition to some in office therapies. With it being my first time trying Pilates I was a little nervous. I was hoping I could get some relief from my back pain all while building muscle strength and trying to maintain some sense of physical activity since I am now super limited on what I can do. I have now fallen in love with Pilates! Lisa is such a wonderful instructor!! She has helped correct my posture which to my surprise, helped to alleviate quite a bit of my back pain. Lisa is fantastic! If you are looking for a one-on-one instructor who knows what she is doing, this is who you want!

Lisa is the best! I am an avid runner who has suffered from chronic injuries. I have struggled to gain the strength I need to make the progress I want. Ever since I started working with Lisa I am finally making progress. She has a wealth of knowledge. As a well educated physical therapist and well trained Pilates instructor, she will make sure your form is always correct and she has the best cues to help you find the right form. I didn’t even know what Pilates was when I started and now I plan to make this a permanent part of my regime.
