My experience coming from Laguna niguel was beyond great, I was afraid due to my keratoconus it was going to be difficult but Alexander is very knowledgeable, I’ve had Kaiser look at my eyes but Alexander has far exceed his knowledge of what I thought was about my eye s. I definitely recommend anyone with keratoconus, he explains it very well and takes the time makes sure you know the process and the best case scenario for your vision. You can pay out of pocket or have insurance accepts both but call to make sure.

As someone with keratoconus, finding the right specialist is essential, and Dr. Bonakder was fantastic. He took the time to thoroughly explain my condition and walked me through the best options for me, answering all my questions. His assistant Alejandra was fantastic as well- thorough, communicative, helpful, and made the whole process very smooth. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic eye doctor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A doctor is very knowledgeable and has a ton of experience. Very down to earth and actually found the source of my eye problems. After years of struggling, I can’t believe I didn’t find this place sooner. Highly recommend 10 to 10.
