I approached Alex after finding Mortgage Chain through one of his YouTube video guides, as I was honestly completely out of my depth and did not know the first thing to do when starting the process of buying my first home. Alex made everything understandable in an engaging manner and answered all of the questions I had about the potential minefield that buying a property can become. Everything was dealt with quickly and explained in both detail and in a way I could understand. Throughout the process of dealing with conveyancing we faced multiple issues, due to errors on the side of my seller’s solicitors. Alex and his team continuously went out of their way to ensure that all mortgage related matters were handled correctly, promptly and without issues. This also included personally contacting both conveyancers and estate agents, and helped to get the process moving. There were multiple delays towards the end of the process regarding exchanging and completing, again due to errors caused by the seller’s solicitors. This meant that I had to complete on the day my mortgage offer came to expire, which fell through into the next day with no margin for error or delay. Naturally this was a cause of anxiety for anybody, however I have had a history of severe anxiety and what meant the most to me out of the whole experience is that after contacting Alex asking about what my options were he dropped everything. Mortgage Chain then did everything possible to ease my anxiety and help the process complete, whilst putting everything in place incase I couldn’t complete. Just the fact that they clearly care about their clients like family speaks volumes. Without a shadow of doubt I will be contacting Alex when the time to remortgage comes up, as the level of professionalism demonstrated is not something easily found these days.
