Excellent service!We recently discovered a squirrel in our attic. Shortly afterward, two more squirrels chewed through metal wire and got into our chimney. One of them eventually fell into the space above our original (1911), non-functioning coal-burning fireplace.Pest in the City was extremely thorough in inspecting the attic to ensure the squirrel had vacated and in searching for possible entry points. The technician assured us the attic was empty and sealed the only likely access hole.We were shocked when, a few days later, we heard a squirrel inside the fireplace after a chimney sweep from another company had re-blocked access from the chimney. In a panic, we called Pest in the City late in the evening (they take calls until 9:30 pm!). The technician gave us advice that proved to be excellent — although not what we wanted to hear at the time — and arranged to come out the next day.He confirmed there was a squirrel above the fireplace and again recommended a humane, no-harm approach: allowing the squirrel the opportunity to leave on its own. His calm professionalism, knowledge, and commitment to humane treatment were greatly appreciated during a stressful situation.Highly recommended.

Pest In The City has been a lifesaver and the technician Andrew really knew his stuff and was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. I had a serious mouse problem for months and I had other Pest Control companies come in, which were unable to rectify the problem. Andrew was so thorough he noticed they were coming in through my ceiling, hidden in my pantry which all the other Pest control companies missed. The other Pest control companies only noticed the areas on the ground, and set up a few mouse traps, but didn't come in sometimes for weeks to check them, leaving me to dispose of dead mice. Andrew noticed they were coming through the walls and promptly put poison as well as brillo and sealed the walls. He was here often to dispose of dead mice as well.After months of dealing with only mouse traps the other company used, we are finally free of this ongoing mouse problem. I very much appreciated having Andrew in to investigate a rodent problem at my house. There was a space that I thought should be looked at and he did. He discovered that there has been a lot of activity in this area and my next steps will be remediation and to insulate. Andrew recommended spray foam insulation. I would highly recommend this company.
