**Review Title: Disappointing Experience with Supreme Homeworxs - Proceed with Caution**I initially hesitated to write this review, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Supreme Homeworxs and owner Daniel Helm, especially since I relied on previous Google reviews to make my decision to hire him. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.I hired Daniel in December 2024 to handle several home improvement tasks, including replacing all the linoleum in my home with tile and sanding, priming, and painting my kitchen cabinets. From the outset, there were signs of corner-cutting that raised red flags.**Tile Installation Issues:**The tile vendors hired by Daniel initially wanted to avoid replacing the quarter round in my home. When I brought this to Daniel's attention, he acknowledged the issue and mentioned charging me additional for it. When I refused, he ultimately did not pursue the additional charge for the quarter round replacement. While I appreciated that he took care of this, it was still concerning that it was an issue in the first place. With any flooring job I've had completed in the past they've always replaced a quarter rounds. It's always been quoted.**Cabinet Painting Problems:**As a facilities manager for a large corporation, I have experience dealing with contractors, so I have a keen eye for quality work. When the painters arrived, I noticed that no sanding or priming was done on the cabinet boxes. Daniel assured me that the polyurethane enamel paint they were using was durable enough to forgo priming. I trusted the process but was disappointed when the paint began chipping and flaking after only a week of normal use. After multiple attempts to rectify the situation, Daniel and his assistant re-painted the cabinets but only applied primer after I pointed out the issues. Despite their efforts, the paint continued to chip, and I observed that the crown molding was improperly finished. On the third visit, Daniel arrived with a half-empty can of latex paint and no primer, claiming he had none available. I had to purchase my own paint to ensure the job was completed with the right paint and to a satisfactory level. Although he ultimately finished the job, after he left, I discovered numerous areas that were still left unaddressed, including a lazy Susan that was never primed and several cabinet hinges missing screws. Additionally have a door on my cabinet that was hung that's not even with the other doors, and areas that are still chipping.Throughout this process, I found Daniel often deflected responsibility for the quality issues, blaming his team rather than taking ownership. Despite claiming to back/ standby his work, the lack of accountability was concerning.**Final Thoughts:**I want to clarify that my intention is not to attack Daniel personally. I believe he is a decent guy who may have taken on more than he could handle, leading to an unsatisfactory outcome. My primary concern is that he accepted my money ( which I paid him fully and on time without issues) without the necessary skills or staff to complete the job to a satisfactory standard.I hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale for potential customers. I wish I had been better informed about the quality of work I would receive. Had I known I could have went elsewhere and received better service. I have documented photos to support my claims and will be taking it upon myself to fix the remaining issues. In conclusion, if you're considering hiring Supreme Homeworxs, proceed with caution and ensure you have a clear understanding of what to expect.
