I've used Orkin, I've used Aptive -- both companies do a fine job eliminating pests from your home, and providing largely professional service. But for me, GuardUp Pest Control topped the "big boys" in two key departments -- fair pricing and personalized care. GuardUp came in at a favorable rate, but with zero dip in attention to detail. In fact, the techs that arrived at my house were far more engaged than many exterminators I've experienced in the past. They listened to my concerns, and assured me they'd keep an eye on my areas of emphasis. They even climbed up a ladder to check out a potential problem spot near the roof of my home. That went a long way with me as none of the "big boy" companies would ever go that extra mile. With Orkin and Aptive it was always, "Yeah, we're not permitted to do that. We'd have to call in an additional tech, and you'll pay for it." Huh? So, I need some "Special Forces Exterminator" beyond my normal service? At any rate... With GuardUp I know I'm in kind, capable, attentive hands. And I love that they're local. Extremely happy with their service! Less
