Olga provided great advice during the design phase and Alan was brilliant throughout — kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in getting everything right. When we ran into tricky issues, both Alan and Mihail were calm, thoughtful, and solutions‑focused, which made a stressful moment feel completely manageable.Alan recommended Mihail as our fitter, his expertise and attention to detail were outstanding, and together they made us feel really supported from start to finish. The end result works beautifully, and we’re so grateful for the care they both showed. Highly recommend!

I went into a number of kitchen renovation showrooms in the area and Schmidt was by far the most attentive and knowledgeable. Olga took me through every option and consideration, being upfront about potential problems/expenses and giving me her honest opinion of what choices were wise and worthwhile. While what I wanted to achieve wasn't something I can afford to do now, they recommended me to a partnering company who could provide me with a cheaper temporary solution. That said, when I'm ready to re-do my entire kitchen I will certainly return to Schmidt!

A wonderful team of genuinely helpful, competent and friendly people. The kitchen itself is lovely, high quality and durable. There were some significant problems with the delivery of the units (nothing to do with Schmidt Islington), which the team did absolutely everything they could to resolve, really going out of their way (thank you Alan!) to make sure the problems were dealt with as soon as possible and with minimal disruption to our lives. If you're considering Schmidt Islington, you really would be in the best of hands.

We loved working with Schmidt (Olga and Alan). Thoughtful design, bespoke units, excellent process management (super responsive and helpful), great materials/finishes, delivery and installation. Their recommended fitters, Gena and Alex, were also top notch - they did an amazing job for what was a relatively complex kitchen renovation! 10/10 would recommend!
