HQ Pools

The company took me on as a customer and then dropped me after 2 pool cleanings saying I was too far for them to service. They left me high and dry with a lame excuse. It took me a month to find a new service in the middle of the summer. By then my pool had turned into a green pond and had to be cleaned extra hard and cost extra much!In response to you: Try calling for new service in MAY when EVERYONE in Monmouth County is booked out. YOU guys don't even know your own industry. I called about a dozen places total, again with no one even answering my calls and / or telling me they could not take me on. And YES I am FINALLY posting this review (I should have done that much much earlier indeed) in response to your attempt to collect on your bill. If this were MY business, I would have apologized to my client for the inconvenience, hassle, and waste of time, and voided the bill as a courtesy for all the trouble. It is not MY fault that YOUR staff took me on not realizing "how far" I was. And it took you THREE trips to figure that out? Again LAME excuse. The trip is roughly 30 minutes and about 18 miles, hardly a reason to pack an overnight bag. YOUR decision and neglect cost me hundreds of dollars and my time, as well as the loss of use of my pool for well over a month..
