I've had a great experience training at Pu'u Muay Thai. From day one, the staff and members have been incredibly welcoming, patient, and supportive. The instructors do an excellent job communicating techniques and are always willing to provide helpful one-on-one guidance to make sure you're learning and improving. Signing up for classes is simple and convenient. I also appreciate that they offer classes for different skill levels, creating an environment where everyone can learn at their own pace.I would highly recommend this studio to anyone interested in Muay Thai, whether you're a complete beginner or have previous experience. Ed, Heloise, and Zack, and Steve have been incredible instructors. The welcoming atmosphere, supportive community, and quality instruction make it a great place to train and grow!

I can’t say enough great things about Pu’u Muay Thai Ventura. If you’re looking to learn authentic Muay Thai, this is the place. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, but what really stands out is how much they genuinely care about every member—from adults all the way down to the kids. My daughter has been training here for the past three years, and the growth she’s experienced has been tremendous. Not just physically, but mentally and spiritually as well. The coaches have played a huge role in shaping her confidence, discipline, and character. Now my son is just starting his journey here, and we’re excited to watch his growth as well. What started as training has truly turned into something much bigger for our family. This academy does an amazing job of meeting people where they are. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, they tailor the training to help you grow and reach your full potential.Beyond training, Pu’u Muay Thai Ventura has created something special—a true sense of family and community. After relocating to Ventura a few years ago, this academy became a major source of connection and belonging for our entire family. On a personal note, I’ve known Johnathan since his early days as a young fighter, and it’s been incredible to watch his journey evolve into who he is today—a skilled martial artist, a driven entrepreneur, a true advocate for Muay Thai, and most importantly, a solid human being. It makes being part of this academy even more meaningful.Pu’u Muay Thai Ventura isn’t just a gym—it’s a family. And we’re grateful to be a part of it.
