Excellent gym to train at. Everyone is helpful no matter what experience level. Many long term students in all classes so you can always level up even in fundamentals class. I have been doing this for almost 9 months and go consistently since it is fun.

I am not a member, i have dropped in to pu'u multiple times to train with a friend who is however. I have been a dedicated martial artist for nearly 20 years, and when i tell tou Pu'u is already one of my favorite gyms ever i am not exaggerating at all. The coaching, the staff and the facility are great, but overwhelmingly what strikes me as special here is the culture.If you are interested in learning any striking art, and are anywhere near Pu'u come train. Kru Ed is awesome, and everyone in class will be happy to see you, even if you drop in once on a trip through Ventura.
