I’ve been coming here since 2021! I started with a full wrap, tint and exoshield on my Jeep gladiator that goes everywhere (from the Rubicon trail to Moab).Dave did such a pro job on that (even wrapping the bolts) — he got himself a lifetime customer.I’ve seen done exoshield on 2 other vehicles, and PPF & tints on a Porsche Taycan and BMW X3 m40i.I’ve moved around in the Bay Area but still come here because I know that the standard here is excellence. Lots of shops try and get by with OK quality and stuff slips through the crack, they don’t stand by their work — not here.I think prices are fair — probably can find cheaper shops, but you get value for your $ here — a pro job and a company that will stand by their work.

Dave from Alphawerks Window Tint and Paint Protection did an outstanding job on my vehicle with both window tinting and paint protection film (PPF). From the start, he was professional, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain the different options so I could choose what made the most sense for my car without feeling rushed or pressured. The window tint came out extremely clean with no bubbles, streaks, or imperfections, and it instantly improved both the look of the car and the comfort inside by cutting down heat and glare. The PPF work on the front end was just as impressive, with a smooth, nearly invisible finish that still provides solid protection against chips and road wear. You can tell Dave really pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work because everything looks precise and high-end. The whole process was smooth, the turnaround was solid, and the car was delivered looking better than expected. I originally purchased XPEL window tint through the Tesla app, which recommended several shops in the South Bay. After comparing a few options, I decided to go with Alphawerks—and I’m really glad I did.I dropped off my car on a Monday, and Dave (the owner) walked me through everything, including California tint regulations and VLT levels. We quickly finalized the full window tint setup. Since I needed the car back the same day, they were able to complete the tint very efficiently, and the quality turned out excellent.When I picked up the car, I also asked about full-body XPEL Stealth PPF and coating. Dave took the time to clearly explain the differences between edge-wrapped and non-wrapped installations, which really helped me understand the value.I decided to move forward with a full-body XPEL Stealth PPF with full edge coverage, along with the coating. I dropped the car off the following Monday, and the process took about a week—I picked it up the next Monday. The timing worked out perfectly since I had travel planned, so it didn’t affect my daily commute at all.The final result looks amazing—I absolutely love how the Quicksilver looks with the matte (Stealth) finish. It really elevates the whole car.While Alphawerks may be priced higher than some random shops, the quality of the work, materials (XPEL), and warranty make it a worthwhile investment. Especially in California, where rock chips are common, it gives real peace of mind. Being Tesla-recommended and XPEL-certified also made me feel much more confident in my decision.This is my first Tesla, and I’m really happy I chose Alphawerks for both the tint and PPF.
