David’s gentle manner was lovely to be alongside.We decided to go ahead with the board and train, we were unsure because of the financial commitment but it was so worth it. The walks are transformed.. David also visited us 3 times to make sure things were still going well when they came back to us. We now have 2 dogs happy to get in our car knowing they are going for a good run. David came to do a consultation and we decided it would be best suited if Zeus spent two weeks on a board and train programme. On the day I dropped Zeus off, David invited me in to his house and we went through the plans, naturally I was nervous about leaving Zeus behind but I was impressed by the way he treated Zeus and allowed him to sleep in the house and socialise with his family. I received daily video and text updates, the videos were extremely beneficial to continuing the training once Zeus came home. David was very flexible with drop off times, he spent a couple of hours with the whole family going through everything and advised how to continue the training at home. 4 weeks have now passed and Zeus is almost like a new dog, he is still the same cheeky pup but is so much calmer in the house and has improved vastly, we have had several walks with no reactivity at all, we still have the occasional moment but with the training David gave me, I know how to deal with it. After dealing with a few dog trainers before and having no joy, we found David and he has done excellent work. He now walks completely to heel, we can walk him confidently with no reactivity to other dogs and he will finally lay down when asked. He even managed to crate train - a process we gave up on about 6 weeks ago as Zeus would just howl through the night.There is still a journey for us to go on with Zeus in terms of his training, but David has provided some excellent foundations for us to work with (and some brilliant training for us as well on how to manage that process) and all achieved with non confrontational methods. A month ago we’ve adopted Millie - a rescue dog from North Macedonia. She is a very anxious dog and wouldn’t go for walks as she is afraid of many sources of stress, including animals she’d see outside. With time it got worse and we’ve tried some tricks, but nothing could really help us. Also, I’ve contacted an online dog behaviourist, provided by our pet insurance company, but his suggestions just made the situation worse and Millie stopped going outside at all, our flat turned into her toilet.I’ve decided to get in contact with David after all good reviews I’ve read. After talking to us and observing Millie for ca. 20 minutes, he could already understand, what is the problem and offered a solution, which works for Millie. He spent with us 2 hours talking to us, taking Millie for a walk and explaining how Millie understands our signals, what we’ve done wrong and what has to be done to make her feel more self-confident and secure, how to build up a connection between us. Already in the evening we could take Millie for a proper walk (usually I’d carry her to her spot and she’d then pull me back home) and she followed us instead of trying to pull and run back home. That was like a miracle!We are very thankful to David for helping us with Millie. Just within a day she took such a massive step forward. Of course, one session is not able to take away her fear and there is a long way to go, but with all guidelines and reassurance from David we are on the right way. He also gave us tips regarding other issues, such as barking and the “no” command and left a training plan with helpful tips and commands, which could be used in many situations, eg. at the vet.Thank you so much! Our 8 month old Cockapoo stayed with David on his board and train programme for three weeks. Our puppy's aggression was getting out of control and he was guarding anything he thought of as high value, including the dishwasher, his food and the family.We spoke with David over the phone before our consultation and arranged a non-obligation meeting where David could observe our puppy at home. He was able to start training that day, and while our puppy was away we got photo, video and phone call updates on his progress. David changed his diet to a natural plan which has resulted in our puppy growing, putting on weight and he has bulked out.David brought our puppy back after 3 weeks and spent time with the family doing a full handover where he demonstrated his new routine. We noticed an immediate, all round improvement from the moment he was home including recall, aggression, barking and lead walking. Since then David has been on hand with hints and tips to cement the training and to help guide us to having complete control.We all highly recommend David's board and train.
