David has incredible experience with dogs, and within a few hours he gave us all the tools and knowledge to completely transform our 11 month old Labrador's poor walking habits, leash manners, and general obedience around.His methods are clear and focused, where as a lot of dog training nowadays actively encourages you to "ignore" poor behaviours, David encourages you to deal with it directly by instilling boundaries and enforcing them in a firm but entirely fair manner.Four weeks later, and our dog's leash reactivity and general behaviour has transformed, and we can now see a clear path towards and well balanced and friendly adult dog. I cannot recommend David enough!

David's expertise is incredible, within a couple of hours he helped us turn our very freezy greyhound into a confident walker. We went through some necessary obedience commands in the house, and then took to the outside world for lead work and walking. It was like night and day. As first time dog owners David really helped set us up for success with confidence now in what we're doing. We recently contacted David Anderson for help with our cocker spaniel who was a very anxious dog and fearful of loud noises. David took his time in understanding the problems we were facing and recommended our dog went to stay with him in his home for three weeks of intensive training. During the three week training period, we were sent daily video updates showing what had been achieved and how the training was progressing. At the end of the three week period, David returned with our dog and spent a lot of time going over the routines with us and continued to visit for several days making sure we knew what to do and how to deal with any problems should they arise.
What David has achieved has been absolutely amazing. Walks are now an enjoyable time for us all compared to previously and we are now able to go to so many more places without the worry of our dog being totally scared.We cannot thank David enough for all his help and guidance and would highly recommend David to anyone needing help with their dog.

David came out to asses my dog who had become quite unruly at 13 months of age. David gave me clear information that was targeted and doable. My dog really liked David too which was great. He gave me exercises to do with my dog and it is working a treat. She is much more focussed and she really enjoys learning. One thing that I realised - my dog wanted to interact with me, not just petting her or talking to her. She wanted us to do joint tasks. This has made the world of difference. She now wags her tail whilst sitting and waiting, and is proud of herself. When I say 'free' she knows what it means. I have also watched David's online courses and there are so many things that I wish I had known when my junior was a small puppy. What I really liked was the idea that David did not charge by the hour. Instead, he asked what I wanted to achieve and we worked on it for as long as it took. I have tried two other dog trainers in the past and was very disappointed. All the seemed to want to do was drag out the sessions which were being charged by the hour. They did not have David's experience and expertise. Most of all, I really enjoy training with my dog now. And my dog loves it to boot. I will get David to come back when my dog and I want to move to the next step. Strongly recommend David. Excellent service.

We have a reactive adult lurcher who has been unpredictable during our walks. David came for the assessment session which took about 2h. It was a bad weather so we couldn’t really show him how bad our dog can get but during the session we’ve received a lot of advice and guidance on how to walk him and create a bonding experience with us. Since that session we had seen great improvement. We have become more aware of how to predict his behaviour, and our walks are really good. We might need to see David again because we never had a chance to show him our dog’s problem (bad weather meant no other dogs around) but we believe that what we’ve got has already made a huge difference. We contacted David as our 10 month Cockapoo had a bad experience with an off lead dog in our local. This made him scared and anxious of the world. David came to my house, got to know our pup and us.After the assessment David gave us 2 options of either 1 to 1 weekly training or residential training. After speaking with David and going through what to expect from the residential training, we decided this would be the best option. David showed us round his house and where Barnaby would be staying. Meet David's lovely wife and then gorgeous dogs. I was very anxious leaving him, but all my fears were very short lived. We got daily updates on how Barnaby was doing. Watching him get his confidence back was fantastic. When David brought Barnaby back and he spent a few hours training us.Well what can I say Barnaby returned with so much confidence, I cant thank David and Heidi enough, he is a dog again, we go on walks everywhere now, still alot of daily training to do, but absolutely over the moon. My wish was to be able to take Barnaby away in my motorhome and relax and enjoy life. This was achieved this weekend. Thank you again David and Heidi, 5 stars and absolutely recommend 🐾

I contacted David about my Doberman as she has been struggling with some reactivity issues that I wanted to get control of. This is something I was trying to work through myself however without the knowledge I was getting no where. With just 1 session with David I saw instant results. No leash pulling, no barking at dogs and a much more respectful and happy girl. I am so relieved as I thought we had a long road ahead however David broke it down with simple and effective techniques to help work through these issues. David was so kind with my girl and used really in-offensive and subtle methods of training which I loved. I would 100% recommend David, it was so interesting hearing all the knowledge he had to give me and can’t believe how well my girl responded to the training!

We reached out to David after re-homing our lovely Cavapoo George.Lovely dog but some reactivity problems, doesn’t like people coming into the house, lunging and barking towards anyone that walked too near us when our.. . Lunging and barking at bikes, prams, scooters, anything!We had been doing some weekly training but didn’t seem to be leading to any changes.From the first visit David seemed to have such a grasp of George’s pattern of behaviour and I saw small changes even on that first visit. David’s gentle manner was lovely to be alongside.We decided to go ahead with the board and train, we were unsure because of the financial commitment but it was so worth it. The walks are transformed.. George wake to heel and is so much calmer.. we still have lots to work on and it’s not like his reactivity has vanished but we now have the tools to manage it safely, we feel much more in control and hopefully work towards more change so we can enjoy our lovely pooch even more.The daily videos during the stay are so helpful (and not to mention lovely to receive) to be able to see his progress and also to guide us now to look back on. We have been in touch since to ask the odd guidance question and David has always responded.Couldn’t recommend it enough!

We contacted David as our 20 months old German Shepherd Hetty was very reactive other dogs. Lunging, barking and any sudden movements or sounds David for our first consultation at our home. Saw what Hetty was like, and suggested a plan. Where she would go and board at his home with himself, Heidi and their lovely family. David and Heidi invited to their home to see where Hetty would be staying and also her training. So off Hetty went for 2 weeks to train. We were nervous about leaving her. But David and Heidi put our minds at ease David is Knowledgeable. Has a gentle approach to training. Daily updates via video and texts was a great help for ongoing training when Hetty come home. Hetty came home a much calmer dog. Almost like a new dog. Walks are a pleasure now. So Thank you David and Heidi. Would Highly recommend. 5 stars from us.

My year old morkie spent two weeks with david for training...I'm so impressed with the outcome. He's like a different dog walking is a pleasure...it was lovely knowing that he was in a loving home environment....family and friends have noticed the difference and commented on his calmness...would highly recommend this service....Great after care as well....would be happy to leave him for holidays etc

Dave had our Dog Hondo a Doberman for 2 weeks age 5 months old and when he came back to us what a change so much so he sits.waits.lays down. And walks tho still pulls at times, and wants to play with other dogs but forgets his size.well he is only 5 months still learning but over all very happy thanks Dave.

I contacted David because my dog was refusing to get in the car and she was becoming very distressed about it. After an initial assessment, it was decided that she should go and stay with David and his wife Heidi for a couple of weeks. During that time they worked consistently with her and sent me regular updates. The results were excellent - she was soon jumping in their car and going out and about. After she came home David continued to work with me to ensure that she would do the same for me, and she was soon jumping in my car quite happily too. I would recommend David to anyone who has problems with their dog - he has been so helpful, patient and always positive!

We contacted David as we had problems with our 2 golden retrievers who did not want to get in the car. After meeting David & his wife Heidi and feeling very comfortable with them we felt it would be easier for the dogs to board with them in their home to do the work with them. We were sent daily updates & videos which were so helpful as we could see how David was training them. Is was amazing to see them getting in & out of his car, something we had been unable to do!! David also visited us 3 times to make sure things were still going well when they came back to us. We now have 2 dogs happy to get in our car knowing they are going for a good run. Davids approach is very calming and the dogs were happy in his company & in his house.We also know that if we have any other problems we can contact David which is very reassuring for us.

We contacted David as we have been having a few issues with our 7 month old Doberman in terms of obedience, lead pulling/recall and separation anxiety. After spending the day with David for an assessment, we can’t thank him and recommend him enough for the training and help he gave us. Even after one day we already feel like Hendrix has made so many positive steps forward and we have also learnt so much ourselves and will take everything we learnt and continue the training each day.
