Zoe has a wonderful and calm manner while working with my daughter. My daughter is quite an anxious child and can be stubborn and easily distracted from the topic at hand. Zoe never fails to manage her anxiety and redirect her back on task. She is clearly very experienced with a huge toolbox of techniques for managing children’s learning differences. I would highly recommend to anyone whose child needs additional support and guidance to reach their learning goals.

I am very happy to recommend Zoe! We discovered our 9 year old was really struggling with her times tables during lockdown and contacted Zoe. She has only been working with my child for a few weeks and already we’ve noticed her confidence in maths has increased, she seems to really enjoy maths problems now. I am super impressed with Zoe’s approach to teaching times tables especially as my child literally learnt one of them in 10 minutes and had it memorised. It’s such a weight off as a parent, to have a child really understanding and enjoying maths and I am pleased that working with Zoe is going to help set up the foundation for my child’s learning going forwards. Zoe liaises with my child’s teacher to ensure that the way she tutors is in line with what is happening at the school as well which is fantastic. My little girl tells me that she finds the sessions a lot of fun and looks forward to them every week!

July 2017 I contacted Zoe after a recommendation by a mutual friend. I required her tutoring service because my daughter was falling behind at school with her reading and writing. My daughter is a talkative, social and hyperactive girl who would get distracted very easily and distract those around her. She has nearly 30 other students in her class with only the one teacher. My daughter needed 1 on 1 attention to bring her focus back to the task at hand. Working with Zoe for just one term allowed my daughter to learn how to focus. Her reading and spelling improved almost immediately and I found that her behaviour in class improved also as she could now understand the task at hand and didn't need to distract others or be distracted. I found that Zoe helped my daughter so much that my son now sees her too. He requires a little extra help for maths. My son is very emotional and quite anxious. He wants to do everything right the first time or he'll just give up. He would often cry and not even try to attempt the question. With Zoe's help my son has been able to have a break through with his emotions and with a few little extra steps is able to solve mathematical problems much easier. He has now moved up a level in maths at school which has also seen his confidence grow also. Before having lessons with Zoe he did not want to go to school and would make excuses as to why he did not want to go. I found this really concerning as he is such a lovable, outgoing character who simply lacked a little confidence in his ability to do maths. I have not heard him once tell me that he does not want to go to school after having help from Zoe. I love seeing my children improve in their school work as well as their confidence. Whenever we have an issue at home with homework even in unrelated topics, I have felt comfortable in sending Zoe a quick message to ask for help. Zoe will always respond with wonderful advice and then follow it up at the next tutorial session. My children find Zoe extremely approachable and are more than happy to spend time with her. Zoe is extremely knowledgeable and understands that my children do not learn like one another or like other children. She has adapted and tailored their tutoring to their individual needs, resulting in so much improvement. Zoe cares not only about their schooling but also their emotional health. I highly recommend Zoe to any parent wanting their children improve in any facet of school life.
