Clinic was clean. Staff very friendly. Only minor thing was I had noghing to for hours I think there should have been small pack of cookies or something offered to eat. Especially when I couldn't leave until someone picked me up.

So happy I found USA Fibroid. They were close to my home which was why I chose them, but I ended up having such a lifesaving experience. So happy with the amount of information they gave me before and after my treatment as well as the professionalism of the doctors and staff there. They made me feel very comforted and thought of the entire time which was very different than other treatment places I first considered. The only thing I would say is that I did end up waiting for a while, but honestly it was really worth the wait. The place was clean and I liked that they followed up with for almost a year after, because thats what I was most worried about going to a clinic vs. a hospital. But that was not the case, I was checked up on and they made sure that my fibroids did indeed shrink and that my progress was right on schedule.

When I first called the one 1800 number I asked if my insurance covered the visit and I was told yes so I made an appointment. I went to my visit and asked again if my insurance will cover and I was told yes at the clinic in the Washington heights that they were in network. I went to two visits without being charged a copay I found that odd but still saw the doctor. Now I am being billed 172 dollars because the bill says out of network discount . So I called the billing department and all the guy told me was that it’s my responsibility to pay the bill . I think that this people are taking advantage of patients how wouldn’t they know what insurance cover and what not . It’s insane and I’m just so upset about this . I’ll make sure to let my close relatives and friends this so as many people know about this

Had my veins treated here a year and a half ago. Came in because I had heavy periods and had to use pad after pad, sometimes three at a time. I feel SO MUCH better right now. Lot less pain, lot lighter periods now. Thanks to the doctors and staff here. Very nice, caring, and listened to my issues rather than discounting them like my general family doctor did.

Last Nov. was the last straw for me. I had heavy periods and horrible cramps for months. Everyone told me it was normal, or that my body was just going through a change but boy were we wrong. I had 4 fibroids and my obgyn said I was going to need a hysterectomy. I was so upset and started going to therapy so I could deal. My friends told me I was too young, and what if I wanted to have another kid. I went to usa fibroid centers are they told me about embolization. The doctors were so nice and the visit went very well. After, no more cramps, no more bathroom breaks, definitely less bleeding. They checked on me and made sure everything was going alright and they were very thoughtful at my other appointments. I couldn't imagine life without using two pads (and changing them every 2 hours), but now I can. I would recommend to all who have fibroids. There are more options, you shouldn't just get stuck. They were very informative here and knew a lot. I felt comfortable which is a big thing for me.
