The technician showed up without the proper tools to analyze the problem. Then suggested that we have a leak in the duct system. Then he said that he needed to come back with the other truck that has all the equipment in it. I found Solutions Heating & Cooling by running into one of their team members at a Lowes in Amherst. Kaitlin was very nice and pleasant to speak with! Some would call it coincidence, but just a few days before speaking with Kaitlin I noticed my HVAC system was making a noise that concerned me. I learned from Kaitlin that I could have one of their qualified HVAC technicians come out and perform a tune-up/inspection of my HVAC system for $99.Just a few days later one of their qualified technicians, named Shad, showed up to my door. Shad was extremely courteous, even offering to take shoes off without me asking him to do so.I knew before Shad got there that my HVAC unit was only 2 years old, so I was expecting either a minor repair, or for peace of mind.After an hour or so of leaving Shad to do his magic he reported to me that there is nothing wrong with the unit. He even told me about an Appalachian Power Company incentive program going on where I can have a certified contractor come out, for free, and perform basic home-efficiency repairs - like retaping duct work with gaps, among other things. That information alone was worth the $99 tune-up, let alone the peace of mind from finding no issues with my system.I ended up asking a ton of questions to Shad. He always had a response I could understand and relate to. Shad's passion for HVAC really showed in our conversation.
