Amber was so calm and patient with my toddler son who has a lot of hair, and does not like getting his hair cut. This was our first time trying this place and working with Amber. Despite my son crying most of the time and me having to hold him, Amber was so calm and spoke softly to my son the whole time. I really appreciate her kindness and she never looked frustrated and helped both my son and me with our anxiety of the appointment. We will definitely be seeing her again especially since my son’s hair grows fast!

I took my son here yesterday to get a clipper cut, which I was really nervous about because he is on the spectrum and haircuts have been frightening for him in the past. Amber was absolutely incredible with him, and he was very comfortable with her on his first visit. I’m so glad I found this salon and Amber, we will be back!

Will definitely be coming back. My four year old does fine at Supercuts, but recently asked for pink in her hair. I started looking around and found Sharkey's. It was half the price of other places, and included a wash plus some prizes at the end (balloon, ring, lollipop). We opted for pink hair tinsel. Amber was very professional and was able to let my daughter talk up a storm while still focusing on a quality haircut. My only disappoinent was instead of a mini-cure like the website said, my daughter got to pick a pack of stick on nails to put on later.

This is the best place to get haircuts!! My kids love coming here, both Amanda and Jodi are so great. They spoil the kids and make it an experience. I’ll be sad when they outgrow this. They also do super great haircuts and styles!!

We made a last minute appointment to have the first professional haircut for both my kids. My daughters hair was very knotted. It usually takes me an hour when full brush her hair. She hates getting her hair wet, brushed and has refused to have her hair cut. The team kindly and tenaciously put the effort in to wash, detangle, convinced her to cut, dry and braid my daughter’s hair. After some sadness and tears, we left with my daughter saying it was ‘the best day ever’. My son was done fast and was very satisfied. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We took our 3 year old for his first haircut since he was a tiny baby. Amber was so calm and patient with our boy. She put on a show for him, had lots of distractions for him, and the receptionist brought out the bubbles. It was reasonably priced for the attention and speed they have to have with children. It was also MUCH cleaner than a few of the other big name kids cut places.

Had a wonderful experience with Amber today. Our son had his first haircut and he wasn’t really in the mood. She did a FANTASTIC job! Amber was fantastic!! My 3 yr old had her hair cut by a preschool classmate. It was a mess. This was actually my daughter's first (real) haircut, and Amber had her work cut out for her trying to get it all evened out without taking off too much more length. She nailed it! While I am sad about the incident and how short my daughter's hair is now, Amber helped improve the situation by giving her a stylish haircut in which you can't even tell what a mess it was prior! She was also so sweet, fun, and patient. Thank you, Amber!!
