Our first ever visit to Llanberis and we followed the Rough Guide’s recommendation for our evening meal. Very glad we did. The cooking of the main course was exemplary (sea bass, pea puree, roasties and veg all perfect) and the pud (apple and pear crumble with vanilla pod ice cream) was exceptional. Friendly service topped off a lovely evening. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, thoroughly recommended!

We booked for The Peak after taking a look at the menu online and thinking that it looked good. Had we not made a reservation several days in advance, we would not have got a table as it was very much bustling when we went. We were a party of four adults. Two of us started with the chicken liver pate, and the other two had the Thai fish cakes. For mains we sampled the sea bass fillet and Welsh lamb with seasonal vegetables, finishing up with crumble of the day which was apple and pear served with vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious and well presented. We were very satisfied with our meal and would recommend it to anyone looking to dine in Llanberis. The staff were very friendly, giving us a genuine welcome and seeming delighted that we’d enjoyed our evening. This restaurant deserves support.

A lovely evening and delicious dinner at The Peak Restaurant with 5 friends. Friendly greeting on arrival, friendly, efficient helpful staff and a fabulous chef creating seasonal delicious food. When people left, the young waiter thoroughly cleaned the tables with soapy water! No tacky tables here!!! Well done All at The Peak Restaurant! Thank you.

Everything about the Peak was first class. Extremely friendly service, wonderful food and homely atmosphere. All six of us wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and would not hesitate in returning. Thank you for adding to our little break in North Wales.
