From someone who couldn’t imagine taking the plunge into BJJ… Gracie Jiu Jitsu is definitely the way to go. Staff at Tameside Gracie have been very helpful and supportive and it makes a difference. My advice is try a free class and go from there.

Joining Gracie jiu jitsu has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. From day one it’s been incredibly warm and welcoming, no egos, just great people. It’s done wonders for my self-confidence, both on and off the mats, and every session feels like progress. Couldn’t recommend it enough

What an amazing place to come and learn. I Started off by taking my son and he challenged me to have a go, and well am I glad he did. Brilliant instructors fantastic facilities and fantastic people. Come on down and give it ago I was quite anxious at having a go but was really made to feel welcome by members and staff there.

Absolutely fantastic community & environment especially for women. My daughter joined & Absolutely loved it & when she found herself in a bad relationship the love & support from the whole community was Absolutely invaluable helping her cope. Shes so excited to go bk as a young mum .It's so heartwarming to know she has such a supportive community to go back to as well as keeping her fit & learn self defence skills. Can not thank the wonderful Alex & Dani & the whole community enough xx

Joining Gracie Jiu Jitsu is easily one of the best choices I have made! Alex, James and Dani are all fantastic in what they do and they each go above and beyond to ensure that we all feel comfortable and supported, whether that be on or off the mat. The community that has been created is so welcoming and positive, and stepping on the mat is a privilege to share with the amazing people around me! The Jiu Jitsu curriculum is delivered in a great way that makes it accessible for everybody, whether that be Gracie Combatives or Master Cycle, and is taught brilliantly by James and Alex! I joined to learn Jiu Jitsu but I have gained so much more than that! You won’t regret joining this incredible community!

This place is fantastic, the instructors know their shit and are great at teaching it.The atmosphere is fun & friendly, and in the mastercycle side of things, competitive (which I love).
