I recently attended the Where U two day workshop in Sydney in May and would highly recommend it to anyone who is feeling overwhelmed by the Google and Meta marketing space, or anyone who feels personally victimised by their own lack of knowledge when it comes to online marketing.I actually attended somewhat reluctantly. My husband owns the business and was really keen to attend the workshop, but because he has limited IT and computer knowledge, he knew he would need help implementing everything afterwards. In the weeks leading up to the event, he was definitely giving me the hard sell and trying to convince me to come along and take over the technical and marketing side of things.What started as me reluctantly agreeing to help quickly changed. As I began building landing pages and learning more about the process before the workshop, I found myself becoming genuinely interested. By the time we arrived in Sydney, I had gone from being dragged along to realising this was something I could actually learn, understand, and implement myself.Attending the workshop together turned out to be one of the best decisions we could have made. We each absorbed different information and perspectives, and having two people there was definitely better than one.The workshop is fast-paced, which is fantastic if you’ve completed the pre-work and arrive prepared, as intended. If you haven’t done the preparation, I can see how it might feel overwhelming. The structure is designed to help you hit the ground running, and we left with real progress rather than just theory.The only piece of feedback I would offer is that I wish the Google Ads section of the afternoon had run a little longer. An extra hour with the team would have been incredibly valuable for working through some final questions and troubleshooting. As someone who sometimes needs a little extra time to absorb new concepts, I would have loved that opportunity.The entire team was fantastic. The presentations were engaging, the knowledge shared was practical, and everyone was genuinely invested in helping attendees succeed.A special shout-out to Keira, who was incredibly helpful. Even after the workshop had officially finished, she took extra time to sit down with us, answer our questions, and make sure our Google Ads campaign was fully up and running. Because of her support, we left the two-day workshop feeling like we had achieved everything we came to do.Thank you to the whole team, and especially Keira. Five stars from us!
