We had landscaping work done at our house this week, including a new fire pit just in time for fall, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Payton and his crew did an awesome job and were extremely respectful of our home and yard throughout the entire project.The quality of the work speaks for itself, and they left everything looking great when they were finished. I’d give these guys 10 stars if I could. We’re already looking forward to having them back to tackle the front yard next!

Payton was great at communicating about the process each day for me as a tenant. I work from home, so I was told the start time each day, when there would be substantial noise, and about when they would wrap up each day so I could let my dog outside. They did an amazing job with the new concrete, beautiful color and quality - would highly recommend!

They, along with their entire crew, are the kind of people you hope to find when hiring a contractor -- friendly, respectful, honest, hardworking, and punctual. They are also absolute virtuosos of their craft. Watching them work, it was obvious this wasn't just another job to them -- it was something they genuinely take pride in mastering.One thing that immediately stood out was how reliable they were. Every single morning they pulled up at our house by 7:00 a.m., ready to get to work. They communicated well throughout the project, asked thoughtful questions, and helped us turn a rough idea into a finished product that honestly came out better than we imagined.We had a considerable amount of regrading, resodding, and a retaining wall installed, and watching them work was impressive. They were constantly checking measurements and elevations to make sure every section was perfectly level and consistent. It was obvious they weren't interested in just getting the job done, they wanted to get it exactly right.What I appreciated even more was the attention they gave to the little things. They noticed areas of our existing landscaping that could be improved and made adjustments that tied everything together beautifully. Those weren't things we had asked for, but they cared enough to make them right anyway.From the initial consultation, to follow-up visits, measurements, coordinating the 811 utility locates, and all the way through the final walkthrough, they lived up to something they told me early on: "We treat every project like it's our own home." After seeing the amount of care they put into every detail, I can honestly say they meant it.Even when the work was finished, they weren't done until everything was spotless. They cleaned the entire job site, power washed our driveway, and even power washed the street. That level of pride and professionalism says a lot about who they are.If you're looking for a landscaping company that shows up, communicates well, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and genuinely cares about the finished product, I can't recommend Gold Star Landscaping highly enough.
