Since we live out of state, we were especially appreciative of how seamless they made the entire process.Kayela was fantastic—she did a great job scheduling and organizing all of the appointments, answered every question we had, and truly made us feel at ease throughout the project. Being out of state can be stressful, but her communication and organization made all the difference. She was so happy and sweet!Ross and Jim were equally impressive, taking the time to answer all of our technical questions and consulting with us to make sure we chose the best solution for the home. Mixon Foundation was referred to us by someone who had used them.I sent them an email over a weekend and they, Kayela Mixon, called me Monday morning and apologized for not getting back to me sooner.She said her man Jim would call me to set up an appointment to come look at our crawl space.Let me say that our crawl space is very low.We had so much moisture that my floor joists were literally dripping water and we had mold growing throughout!Jim went “under” as we say. He spent a long time “under” measuring, inspecting and taking pictures.He called me later that evening with a quote.We got a quote probably 6 years ago from another company to just encapsulate the space. I don’t know but I have to assume that that company’s price today would be twice as much as 6 years ago.Mixon’s proposal was not just to encapsulate, but included installation of a sump pump that was piped underground to to outside AND a commercial dehumidifier piped to the sump along with a wireless digital device for inside the house that reads the temperature and humidity both under and in the house!Mixon’s price to do all of this work was 30% less than the other company’s proposal 6 years ago for a fraction of the work.Jim came out last week to go “under” to see how things look.After 2 weeks almost all the wood is dry !Oh, I forgot to mention that they also killed all the mold!Not only am I more than pleased with the work that Mixon did , but Kayela Mixon and Jim have been so incredibly nice.We have now become friends!5 out of 5 stars !

Mixon did a great job of fully encapsulating our crawl space. The dehumidifier is doing an amazing job of keeping the area dry and we no longer have musty smells in the house.The work was very professional and transparent to us as in they came in, did the work, and were were not inconvenienced at all.The after service care was great. We had a question about something and they were right out to answer/correct the issue.We will definitely use them again for any foundation work.

We found ground floor support beams, installed with the initial construction of our addition, were sagging due to inadequate support.We realized this must be addressed.We wanted to use a local contractor and Mixon's ratings and prompt attention when we called made you our choice.Ross and his amazing team visited us on two separate occasions, making repairs and designing and adding the missing supports that we needed.I cannot say enough about the attention to detail and efficiency with which the team completed the work for us.Dragging doors on both the ground and second floor were immediately opening and closing freely.We highly recommend Mixon's Foundation and Crawlspace Repair for any and all foundation / crawlspace work.Thank you to all.

We used this company for a foundation repair of old house in Mobile. It was a complicated job and we got quotes from several other companies (small and large) Mixonwas the only who was able to do everything in-house even though they are a family owned business. Others only wanted to do some of the work. Ross Mixon was on site the entire job and did an amazing job. The pricing was fair and the crew was fabulous. The office support was also great to work with.Kayla was easy to communicate with and professional. We really appreciate the quality work.

Mixon Foundation completed work in my crawl space that included cleaning out all debris, mold and mildew removal, installing a drain system around the inside perimeter of the foundation, installing a sump pump, encapsulating the crawl space, and installing a dehumidifier in the crawl space. Mixon was great to work with from the moment the initial estimate was scheduled, Jim doing a thorough evaluation of our situation and completing and estimate, and the crew completing the work in a professional, reliable manner. We are very happy with the entire process and the outcome of the work. I recommend you get several estimates if you need similar work and you will see a noticeable difference between Mixon and the others. We needed concrete work and a channel drain installed in our driveway. We asked for quotes from several companies. Mixon Foundation not only provided the best plan and quote, they were the most professional. Mixon is located over an hour away and out of state from my home.
