I contacted the office to make an appointment for the 30th or 31st of January. The only available time was with a provider that I have not seen before, Jess. I took the available appointment because I have had a good experience in this office.When I walked into the office, all of a suddenthe owner, Jen — who has provided services during all of my previous appointments — was available. Why the change? No idea, I’m not the office manager. I wish the owner acted as such and took my appointment given she was familiar with my requests and had experience treating me over the last year. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.During the visit on January 31, we discussed my request including a lower dosage. I try to be especially cautious because I DO NOT WANT TO BE OVER-TREATED. In fact I have said on multiple occasions that I would rather go back for a touchup than risk being over treated. These notes should be in my patient file. I know the results I’m looking for are possible given my years of experience.Jess went into a full discussion about how I would need surgery to fulfill my request. Then she spoke about her experience working in the emergency room and started recommending places for my surgery. To be clear, I DO NOT WANT SURGERY. I want to be treated with the product that I’m paying for to achieve the results that I know are fully possible with an adequately trained professional.Jess did the injections then at the end said “don’t worry if the number of units looks like a lot.”Excuse me? I specifically asked for a smaller dose.I have photos (provided to American Express) from the day of treatment and March 8 (approximately 5 weeks later), when treatment is in full effect. These photos illustrate the over treatment which causes the extreme drooping eyelid. THIS IS THE EXACT THING I WAS TRYING TO AVOID. All requests and previous care notes were apparently ignored hence the chargeback and this unfortunate review. 🙄😒 Less
