I've completed 4 weeks of my Battle Ready (Fit for Life) program, and I can already see changes in my physical and mental health. This is not a one-size-fits-all kind of program; it's designed based on your starting point, i.e., your physical specifications. When I joined the program, I wasn't sure how it would work. I'd been going to the gym for a while but couldn't see significant changes. In the last 4 weeks, I've seen significant changes in terms of weight loss, improved strength, and endurance. The only thing asked of you is to commit yourself to the program and follow the coaches' instructions. The coaches are amazing, and they're with you throughout your fitness journey, guiding you and tweaking your exercises based on your physical/mental state. I personally love this program and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to serve in the defense force, police/fire service, or just wants to get fit for life. 5 stars to the program, Coach Brodie, and Coach Jordon. From the get go all relevant information regarding my medical history ie: injuries etc.A perfect formula was created for my work outs that we could start with.The foundation of my program was very carefully thought out as to start my body at a place where we were comfortable and greatly minimised the chance of injuries.Progressive improvements were noted in my diary and sit reps sent to headquarters for record keeping, within the first 2 weeks I had had significant results I can feel and see, muscle growth,strength and toning changes to diet and staying on top of hydration all together in the process I had people complimenting on how well I was looking.There had been so many positive changes to my day to day life and more confident in security operations than ever!This is a great platform to start your journey particularly if you would like to join ADF, Police or any other emergency services.Lots of online support, videos of exercises if your not familiar with them, TRU COACH app where you can communicate to our coaching team back at base for any problems that may arise, my experience is a very prompt response if I need help and a even faster response if I needed it for motivation.This program offers so much more mentally and physical fitness. I find that I'm currently doing exercises that I never would have considered doing before. I am also finding that the Outperform Fitness program is taking me on a much more balanced journey than I would've otherwise taken.Historically, I would pick a few days of exercise a week, but suddenly I am doing up to 5-6 days of exercise a week, with less intensity. I feel as though this is wonderful conditioning for when I do join the ADF, as the physicality of the role in the Army that I am looking at is not optional.If ever I've had a question or query, Coach Brodie and Coach Andrew have been there to clear things up or have a chat. Its worth remembering that the training is specific to Defence/Police/Emergency roles, so you know that the schedule you get is a no-fluff set of workouts and advice to get you ready for that role.Coming from someone who is already in defence, its a game changer for those seeking a job in that space in terms of making yourself prepared for entry and basic training and beyond. Outperform fitness also is puts emphasise on building your mental and physical toughness, something you'll draw on to get through the tough challenges that make things like a PFA or the BFA laughably easy by comparison...once you're in it only gets tougher and that's just to be at standard. When I first received my week 1 program with outperform fitness I was blow away with the level of detail and extra content that came with each workout. The gym became more of a teaching ground for better health and fitness rather then just another place to shift weight. By using the extra education these programs provide I have now managed to record higher weight and reps. Consistency was an area in which I lacked but since starting the program I haven't missed a day because I now look forward to my next workouts. Training with Brodie so far has been great. It’s only been a short period of time so far and I have absolutely no complaints. He has been able to set personalised programs and it has helped me massively. My biggest challenge was my overall fitness and running. I would HIGHLY recommend this program to everyone and anyone, no matter their strength, weight, capabilities, drive or fitness as it can be effective no matter how weak or strong, how hard physically fitness or not as fit, it is a program that is made to push you beyond your limits, with help along the way at every step, there’s no need to worry about search up what an exercise is or how to complete the exercise as the app has video footage of step by step!!! After I injured my ankle and had some time off work I gained a lot of weight. I came to brodie for help and assistance with a goal of becoming functionally fit for my job role within defence and a goal of deadlifting 150kg. Brodie tailored a program for me to achieve my goals. It included a detailed excercise and meal program. Brodie offered support and guidance throughout with detailed explainantions and demonstration videos on each movement. Brodie showed a big emphasis and passion for correct form and putting the right food to fuel the body for maximum performance.
