Diana does a wonderful job every time! I discovered Diana at the start of Covid when there was no one grooming cats. Been coming here ever since.

I arrive and explain what I want. I decided to opt out of giving my cat medicine (CBD they had) because she seemed calm when I dropped her off. Not even two hours into the service, I get a call asking me to come to the salon and help her with my cat. When I arrive I could tell my cat was terrified. She had put a plastic dome around my cats head and tied her in this rope harness on the table. She wanted me to help hold my cat down while she finished grooming her because she said my cat is aggressive and bit the other groomer. I reminded her again that my cat is 14 years old and nervous (exactly what I told her on the phone). I also wondered why they didn’t start with the dome in the first place to avoid bites…esp since I gave her details about my cats behavior. I started to help her groom my cat but the way she was flinging my cat around made me want to stop the service and take her home. Which is what I did. I paid $180 something, no receipt to actually see the break down…we did a bath, shave, dematting, and flea. But I didn’t care in that moment about price, I just wanted to take my cat. The shave job is uneven for what was done. It’s a shame because I enjoyed taking my cat to barks and bubbles, she was always so calm afterwards. I am happy my cat has been bathed and rid of her fleas and matts, but now my cat is back at home and pacing around a lot. UPDATED: I added a photo of her coat - there’s clear marks of the clippers. We had a list of intstructions with specific areas that could be shaved down and others that we had carefully dematted that were to be kept long, including the head. The dog is now completely shaved down, and unevenly at that, for $189. She claimed the dog was XXL and that she had a scale to weigh her, yet the dog is 65lbs and falls in the large category for $119. She also claimed not to have charged for dematting (since that wasn't necessary, as she was completely shaved) so not sure where the extra 70$ comes from. I don't recommend going there unless you want a complete, uneven, shave down. Less

I'll be the first to admit my dog is very anxious at the groomer and I muzzle him for the safety of all involved. Bark and Bubbles was our go to place and the old owner handled him with patience and care to make his experience tolerable at the least. His coat was getting too matted for me to handle on my own, so I called for an appointment. Under new ownership, Cats and Dogs in the Bubbles was able to fit my dog in last minute. He freaked out when the owner tried to pick him up, so she asked that he be given medication from the vet across the street. My dog is already on anxiety medication, but I went and paid $30 for trazadone. We gave it to him, and I left. When I came back, he was completely traumatized and shaved. They said the matting was too much and the medication did not work fast enough for them. I was disappointed that they did not take my dogs comfort into consideration, but I did expect him to be shaved as a worst case scenario. But what I did NOT expect was being charged $289. My dogs previous grooming appointments, even with dematting, were never more than $125. He is a small, 13 pound dog. I've paid extra for dematting. I've paid extra because he was fussy. But this is outrageous. I didn't say anything at the time because my baby was shivering and scared and I just wanted to take him home. But I want any potential customers to be aware that the price I was charged does not at all match the quality of the service. I won't be coming back. Less
