I done that and he looked at it,(whilst driving), and probably saw the $ signs he could make and said he could drive down on a particular day and time to see me. I stated I work 6 days a week and it didn’t suit. I was then told…well that’s what it is.????Company 2 called and asked what I wanted in a system and told me to send him through the same pictures…2 hours later I had a quote with no onsite visit nor discussion on what panels or system I would need.Company 3 called 10 days later and didn’t seem interested- whatsoever.I thought “shit” this is good isn’t it!I wanted some kind of concrete quote and knowledge before I contacted the local installer-Lenergy at Moss Vale.So then I called Lenergy and was put through to the Solar Salesman Matthew Sparke.The conversation was like night and day compared to the other 3 companies.Matthew asked when a time was “suitable for me” and we actually meet the next afternoon at 4pm.In this time I emailed Matthew a recent bill so he knew what he was walking into the following day.The following day Matthew arrived 10mins early and looked very professional and was extremely knowledgeable and caring.He answered all my questions and then we BOTH put together a plan and scenario together in my garage. He was here for close to 2 hours and I remember clearly saying it was time for him to go- due to the fact he was shaking from the cold and I was shaking thinking how much all of this was going to cost me!!!On a side note, which I found absolutely fantastic, was whilst discussing where the battery was going to be put in the garage we decided to move some white goods from one side of the garage to the other. This meant a PowerPoint would become redundant but another PowerPoint would be needed.Before I even asked if his team could do that , Matthew stated he would put in a new PowerPoint….for free!!!Little things like that is Customer Service !!! & over and above of what you expect unfortunately these days.The next day I received a detailed quote…and I mean detailed, on all aspects we chose and a video presentation from Matthew discussing the quote too.How good is this I thought and what a difference from what I received earlier from the other 3 Solar Companies.The day after Matthew contacted me to discuss the quote further and to answer any other questions I had or concerns.I was in 2 minds to go with a “stringer system” or a “micro inverter” system.Matthew said there is no need for overkill due to the fact I have no shading from trees or obstacles - nor never will in the future. He could have tried to sell me the micro-inverters like the other Company was trying to do for an extra 13k…but didn’t!!I guess when spending a bit of money on something you want to have trust in the person and products your buying….and Matthew was First Class in this field.On the phone calls to each other before signing the contract and then after install etc, every time I call Matthew he answers the phone saying G’Day Graeme.Now that is personalised SERVICE!!!!!!! Mathew spent a lot of time on site understanding our property and needs before takin us through the various options available to us. Our quote - which detailed three options - arrived in days and was accompanied by an explanatary video that was comprehensive and easy to understand. A few follow up questions were answered promptly by the team and left us feeling confident in accepting the quote. Installation was a similar experience with a project manager assigned to us who oversaw the job. The entire installation team were professional, knowledgable and courteous and the job was completed in the time allocated and without incident. After installation we wanted to make a change to the panel layout and this was done promptly and without issue.
