The absolute best dance school on the coast in my opinion. My daughter started here 10 years ago as an incredibly shy kid who danced around the house. She has grown in confidence and technique through the nurturing, inclusive family that is CMDA and is this year moving on to full-time dance at Brent Street while she obtains her Diploma of dance (elite performance) but will be back. Cathy’s was my second home growing up from 5 years old to 21! Cathy Makin Dance Academy is an amazing dance school where friends and teachers turn into family. Cathy is an amazing dance teacher and role model. There are a variety of classes to chose from whether you are just starting out and want to dance for fun, or want to really dive into technique.
