The window crew led by Josh did an excellent job with our 10 window installation. They arrived at approximately 10 AM and were finished at 4 PM. They were friendly and kept us informed throughout the installation. They removed all the window stickers and placed them on 8x11 sheets of paper so we would have a proper file of serial numbers. Although they cleaned up very well, the carpets did need a good vacuuming. We were very pleased with the job. Less

While others have shared their experiences as being negative that their sales people ignored their "no soliciting" signs, I can't complain. They showed up 10 minutes after I got a quote from a different company that uses the same window manufacturer and beat their price significantly! Going over all the details and paperwork was super easy, the financing options were fabulous and the speed at which they had the windows ready to install was phenomenal. We were quoted 10-15 weeks and the windows were ready in 3. They got all 8 windows installed in a single day and made sure we had all necessary paperwork to take advantage of energy efficiency rebates with the power company. The only complaint I have is there was a significant amount of dirt and debris left on our bed from when they installed the master bedroom window. Everywhere else seemed to be cleaned up nicely. Overall, we had a great experience. We love the windows with their quality and features. I have two small ideas for improvement and one heads up for future customers. 1) We’re not neat freaks, but we don’t wear shoes in the house and do weekly basic cleaning. Replacing windows will always be a messy business, but it’s important to leave a house in the condition that it was in upon arrival. The crew did put down canvas and plastic sheeting and wore booties most of the time. However, our family spent the evening cleaning up ice melt, wet boot prints, mud, dust, and vinyl particles after installation. 2) White caulk on brown brick on the front windows doesn’t look great. Clear caulk was used on some of the other windows and should’ve been used here too. 3) If you are considering getting new windows be prepared to remove blinds, drapes, furniture, plants, and pictures before installation and put them back after. Luckily, we did not have to remove our plantation shutters except on two 1/2 round windows and that was done by our professional crew. That’s it. Would have given 4.5 if I could. Thanks. Less

5 STARS PLUS, from start to finish! Everyone was fantastic. Sales guy, awesome, friendly, honest, and wasn't pushy and in your face. Measuring guy, so accommodating, came in the dark and cold and had to trudge through a bunch of dead flower bushes and ended up getting all wet, but was so nice about the whole thing. Install crews, these guys worked so well together. Any questions we had, they were more than happy to stop and talk to us, and explain things. At one point there was a question about whether or not a couple of the windows had the correct tinting, and they patiently waited until sales could get back to us and confirm that everything was okay. I would recommend Guardian, over and over again. Even the office support, were always on top of everything. Chef's kiss to them, and of course, we love the windows and have zero regrets! Recently bought into a new home that wa built in the 70's with windows that appeared original to the build. We are talking aluminum frames and narrowly spaced double-pane glass whose seals had long since broken. Several of the wondows fogged and all were very poor at maintianing the interior temperature of the house. Lucky for us, we were approached by the folks at Guardian windows, and I are so thankful that we were presented with the opportunity to work with them when replacing our windows. Juan was very helpful in helping us understand the whole process, as well as being very knowledgable about the product they are selling. The windows were custom made to fit precicely, and were ready after a relatively short amount of time. The crew that came out to install them were courteous, professional, and efficient. It was a very cold day, but it was hardly noticed at all inside the house as they were very quick in the replacement of the old windows. They were even able to carefully preserve the existing stone window sills. Since the new windows were installed, we have already noticed a distinct lack of cold drafts around the replaced windows. The windows themselves are very easy to disassemble for cleaning, and allow excellent light transfer even though they have a high level of UV protection. We had the pleasure of working with Guardian Windows here in Fort Collins, CO. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable about their products, and they listened to what we wanted to do for our home. On installation day, they were prompt and professional. I really appreciated that later in the day when the installation was nearing completion, a representative from Guardian Windows came over personally to double check the work and to make sure we were satisfied and didn't have any questions. I was very impressed with the company as a whole, their sales people, the people who came to take measurements, and the installation team. The only thing I struggled with was communication after signing the contract was lacking. I didn't hear anything for a while, but when I reached out with my questions and concerns they were quick to respond, apologize, and at least respectfully listened to my suggestions to improve that piece of their business. Everyone was very kind and respectful, and I am very very pleased with the quality of the windows. They were installed very professionally and they actually have made a difference in keeping our house warmer so far this winter. We had no prior experience with Guardian Windows, so we asked a ton of questions and liked what we heard. We wanted high e windows and desired about a dozen windows. When obligating that kind of money on a fixed income there are always fears and we had all of them but when the windows were complete and the installation was initiated those fears left. They completed the installation in one day and even though it was a cold day there was little inconvenience.Was everything perfect? My husband and I are very satisfied with our whole house order of new windows. They were installed all in one day and a month ahead of the scheduled date. We were impressed with the workers who were mostly quiet and busy but also friendly. A supervisor came the day after installation and checked all the windows. Another follow-up visit with a supervisor provided information about care, payments, and warranty, and another check of the windows. The team was professional and we always felt comfortable about them in our home. We then ordered a new door and were impressed with the man who measured and took the order. We give a shout-out to Jeff, Jose, and Richard who did a great job as quickly as possible, working in the very cold weather to install the door. They were excellent. We also appreciate the office staff who always answered the phone during scheduling and order procedures.We have had several compliments from neighbors and friends about the look of the windows. We are also able to better regulate the temperature of our home because of the insulation. We windows and sliding glass doors got installed just this last week and they are beautiful!! Our windows and outside doors let a lot of cold air in the winter and hot air in the summer. We had talked about getting new windows and doors but didn't think that we could afford it. The price from Guardian was too good for us to pass for the amount of windows and door we needed to have done. It took some time to get the windows but once they came to install the windows they crew that came were great!! They were very professional, efficient, and tidy. They made sure that they cleaned up after themselves and kept me informed. They found that one window was measured incorrectly but I was informed before the install even started and was told that it would be reordered and installed at a later date. We found out that the old windows had no insulation around them. So they insulated, installed, insulated again, added trim and sealed both the inside and outside of the windows. They look beautiful and I already notice a difference in how much less cold air is getting into my house. Guardian Windows are a great company to work with, I would work with them again, and I would recommend family and friends to use them. Less

We originally only needed to replace 3 aluminum windows in our home but we ended up doing them all, including 3 sliding doors, because the pricing was so reasonable and we were very impressed with the window quality. Our 1970's home got a total facelift!Our initial contact was with Braden & Riley. Listen, we're not one of those households that can't say no to a door-to-door visitor, but we're so glad we didn't here (and we really needed those 3 windows replaced but just hadn't prioritized it). They were both very informative, transparent, and knowledgable in the windows. You could tell that they love what they do and really stood behind their product.The process of getting our new windows overall was pretty smooth from start to finish. They offered different options for financing, if needed, and as I mentioned before we felt that the pricing was very reasonable. Although there was a slight hiccup in scheduling installation, it was corrected and rescheduled quickly. In fact, I was quite surprised at how soon they were able to get us scheduled for install after our windows arrived.Install day went great. They arrived with an army of people to get the work done and were able to install all of the windows and doors in a single day. They were respectful of my home, toddler, and pets. Although, had I to do it over again I would have waited to schedule install on a day my husband was working from home so I could take the baby and dogs elsewhere. Nothing to do with Guardian at all, I just feel like we added a little extra work for them to work around us. (ha ha)Really the only feedback I have is that it would be a really nice plus for the customer to have more live updates and maybe some email or text confirmations sent out about the progress of your windows being built and a confirmation of install being scheduled along with any instructions for install day (like moving furniture away from the walls, taking down window coverings, etc. etc.). Guardian is a newer company so I know they're likely still working on these types of things. I didn't necessarily have a negative experience with any of the communication- it just would be a "nice to have" thing that I think would streamline the process for both Guardian and the customer in the future.All in all we're very very happy with our new windows. You can feel the difference in how much heat they allow in to our home on those super hot days. We're interested to see some of those improvements reflect in our utility bills. It was worth the investment to update all of our windows vs. just replacing the 3 that needed it and you can't beat the warranty. Less

The windows are amazing. We instantly noticed a difference. Our AC unit was actually able to keep up with the thermostat. We live on a busy street, and the noise from passing cars disappeared due to the 3 pane windows we got. The original windows were of a typical quality for new construction, and many were showing the following signs of aging:* Broken springs* Broken tracks* Broken seals in windows (dual pane glass where insulative gas had leaked out)* Broken seals around window—allowing humidity and mold growth* Discolored glass due to UV damageBased on these issues, we elected to work with Guardian Windows to do a full home window replacement which entailed over 34 windows. The Guardian team was great to meet with us in our home, review options, evaluate pricing, and support us in choosing a path and options that worked well for us.Their installation team—a third party service—was mostly respectful and we felt the quality of the installation was good. My family was generally comfortable with them in our home. They were flexible in altering their installation plans to account for our family’s needs. However, there were several issues with them during the installation process including cleanliness, care of personal items, quality of finish work.While any significant construction project will have challenges, the installation process had more than we had expected. We were fairly open, with an effort toward being respectful, in expressing those difficulties that were outside of our expectations. Here is where the Guardian team truly excelled! While they could not immediately solve each issue, they demonstrated a level of caring for the customer that I have rarely experienced before.A truly great team is demonstrated in how they deal with unforeseen challenges that arise, not in how they handle a perfect job.
