Shaun is a true pro! Having worked with numerous video producers over the course of my career, Shaun is by far the most down-to-earth and collegial. We approached him with a last-minute project after our previous producer bailed out. Shaun stepped up, committed to traveling four hours to be on site, and delivered an exceptional product on time. Throughout our project, he offered honest opinions and thoughtful, creative insight. I look forward to working with him again in the near future!

I had the pleasure of working with Shaun at Right Light Productions and I’m so happy with the finished product. Shaun’s commitment to professionalism, communication, and responsiveness shined from start to finish, making the entire process feel organized and seamless. From the beginning he provided expert advice regarding audio and lighting considerations, he asked great questions, and planned well for the nuances of the shoot.During the shoot, Shaun navigated a busy setting with a variety of people and activities with warmth and ease. He was friendly and unobtrusive, capturing authentic moments and compelling footage without disrupting the flow of the day. His eye for visual storytelling and his understanding of how to create compelling content was evident throughout the project. An example of this was his use of drone footage to capture the broader setting and using his editing and storytelling skills to weave it in the story. The drone footage elevated the final video.Throughout the editing process, Shaun listened carefully to my feedback, exercised excellent judgment, and turned around revisions quickly. Shaun used his creativity to add some visual effects in just the right places. The finished product captured the spirit, setting, people, and emotion of the day beautifully and was exactly what I wanted.I highly recommend Shaun to anyone looking for a talented, professional, creative, and genuinely wonderful person to work with. He made a complex production feel effortless, and I am absolutely thrilled with the result.

Working with Shaun and Right Light Productions was an exceedingly fruitful and uncomplicated experience. Shaun captured a concert of my original songs and poems that included eight musicians, playing together in various iterations and soloing at different times. Shaun skillfully captured angles that helped to transfer the aliveness of the event. His editing and final product far surpassed my expectations. I am so grateful to Shaun for this experience and would recommend working with Right Light Productions no matter the size of the project.

My husband passed away in July and all he had asked of me prior to his death was that I throw a party for him and invite all of our friends. He didn't want a church or funeral home service --he wanted a celebration. Our adult children don't live in the area and they were unable to come for the celebration due to their commitments and schedules. They had both been in regular contact with their Dad.So, I wanted to have the celebration videoed. I found Right Light doing a Google search.Shaun was extremely responsive, helpful, and professional in every way. The video is AMAZING! The creative filming, the soundtrack, the candid views of the people, the memorabilia, and the speakers, captured the event in a way I could never have envisioned. Shaun did. His work is top notch. He is as genuine and compassionate a man as I've ever met, and I am proud to know him, and see his work. If you have a need to capture any event, reach out to him. You won't be sorry. I know I am incredibly grateful to him.

I worked with Shaun + Right Light Video Production on a business promotional video for my event planning company - and I loved every aspect of my experience with him. From the start, he helped conceptualize the best approach for our video and narrowed in on the type of messaging that would be best for my business. He took the time to listen to my goals as a business owner and provided valuable expertise while still supporting my vision. On location while shooting, Shaun was incredibly organize, patient and flexible. We were shooting an location during event setup, and Shaun adapted on the fly to changing conditions and needs of the day. As someone who's not overly comfortable on video, he was encouraging and provided really helpful prompts - helping guide the video towards the outcome I was looking for and capturing all aspects of the event. His turn around time on the video was really quick, and he was really receptive to my feedback on any edits that needed to be made. I'm so happy with the finished product and would highly recommend Shaun as a collaborator!

I had a vision for a video for my book launch and knew I needed more than just a great video technician; I needed someone who would take my semi-defined concept, and the vibe I envisioned, and bring it to light. Working with Shaun didn't just bring the video to light. He made it 10x better than anything I could have imagined! Plus, what was really unique about my experience was that Shaun handled all aspects of producing my video -- from creative brainstorming and planning to the top-notch filming to directing me during the shoot to the post-production editing. As a former corporate exec, I tend to be VERY picky (and a teensy Type A). Working with Shaun gave me both the high quality I expected and the creative ideas and energy I wanted to make the video really stand out from the pack. I cannot recommend working with him more!

I was really nervous when I arrived at Thomas Island Recording Studio to record my first CD. I was greeted warmly by Shaun and immediately felt more comfortable by his presence and the surroundings. He immediately recognized how anxious I was and patiently explained how the entire process would unfold. His compassion, patience, and understanding further eased my nerves. As we got farther into the process I witnessed how very skilled Shaun is at his craft. I never felt rushed during the recording, I felt in control of the pace. Shaun skillfully navigated between supporting, collaborating, guiding, and directing. I left the studio elated with the session. The editing process was just as smooth and supported as the recording itself and the finished product is better than I could have hoped for. I owe a debt of gratitude for the expertise and support I received along with a stellar product. Thank you!!!

Working with Shaun was terrific from start to finish. He helped my team put together an industrial video in 2024, and made every step of the process seamless. Planning was clear, when I got to the space he and his team were ready to roll, they were so easygoing with the shoot, offering great suggestions, and effortlessly bringing out our best. We shot in half the time I thought it would take, then got the first edit back exactly when he said, tweaked a view things and the finished product looks better than I could have imagined.

I worked with Shaun and Right Light Products for my company's crowdfunding video and I could not have had a better experience. It was incredible! From the beginning, Shaun was so professional and accommodating. His commitment to the project from day one was extremely reassuring - I could tell right away he wanted it to be a success. Shaun ultimately played a huge role in everything from script support, finding models, collaborating on locations, shooting efficiently, editing the footage perfectly - you name it! He truly went above and beyond for make our project a success. Shaun also provided a lot of content that I didn't even request, in the form of GIFS, pictures, blooper clips. This helped grow our social media following and engagement massively! We hit our Kickstarter goal within two hours of launching the page, and I have no doubt that the quality of Shaun's video played a huge part in our success. Based on where we're at in the campaign now, I've already 5'xed my investment with Shaun! I've worked with Shaun on multiple interviewing projects over the years and his work is amazing -- both the process and the results! His thoughtfulness and attention to detail is incredible in every aspect of the work, from arranging props and lighting to the final editing and music choices. He's able to quickly put subjects at ease and get the very best out of them, which results in a final product that looks beautiful and is also full of heart and warmth!
