My boys and I were visiting family and got invited to roll at DVG. It was such a welcoming experience. Everyone is super friendly, patient and willing to help. Great instructors all around, very engaging and great at explaining the how's and why's. I also appreciate that they offer a judo class as well. Highly recommend!

My niece and nephew attend the academy and while visiting from out of state my daughter did a drop in class - they welcomed her with open arms. She enjoyed training with different instructors especially Brandon. She loved his teaching style. If we moved back to the islands, we’d definitely attend this academy. Eleven months ago, our boys stepped onto the mats at DVG as complete beginners. Today, they carry themselves with more confidence, discipline, and determination than we ever could have imagined. DVG is where they fell in love with jiu-jitsu, earned their first belts, competed in their first tournaments, and learned lessons that reach far beyond the mats.Coach Brandon and the DVG family played a meaningful role in that journey, creating a welcoming environment where our boys could learn, grow, and build lasting friendships. My son attends DVG Jiu Jitsu and recently earned his gray-and-white belt. Jonah being a younger brother has always lived in his big brother’s shadow a little bit. Big brother did JiuJitsu, so Jonah decided to try it out too. The real game changer was that the Professors and Coaches at DVG helped to build Jonah’s confidence which had enabled him to create his own shadow. Jonah is now confident enough to walk into a room, without his big brother, and start up a conversation with other kids.

We dropped in during our visit, and our 6-year-old was excited to train with new coaches and make new friends. The facility was clean, welcoming, and very kid-friendly, which made for a great experience. The coaches were encouraging, and everyone made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We’ll definitely be stopping by again on our next visit and highly recommend it to other families looking for a positive training environment.

My kids went here for about four years, and they taught them not only how to fight, but also how to be good people. I am very satisfied with what they did, but unfortunately, we had to move off the island. I highly recommend DVG for kids who are new to Jiu-Jitsu.

Myla started off as such a girlie girl and had never really done anything besides gymnastics and cheer. Joining DVG opened up a whole new world for her. Not only did she gain confidence and discipline, but she also learned valuable self-defense skills she can carry with her for life.Coach Brandon and Michelle truly care about their students and are very involved with the kids and families at DVG. You can tell they genuinely want every child to grow both on and off the mats. We’re so thankful for everything they’ve poured into Myla during her time here.
