I just wanted to thank Kristy Kaffco from Aging with Ability for an amazing presentation she shared with my Occupational Therapy Doctoral Students this week, focusing on the role of OT with older adults in the community. It’s evident that Kristy is very passionate about the role she and her organization is playing in increasing the well-being and safety of older adults in the Seacoast community, as well as supporting the caregivers as well. The scope and outreach Aging with Ability provides is truly a testament to the power of community OT and her ability to share her knowledge and passion with my students was amazing. Thank you Kristy for joining out class, motivating my students about the vast possibilities OT in the community with older adults can embrace, and for creating an organization that is supporting the well-being of older adults in the Seacoast community in so many ways!

Kristy was referred by a mutual friend (attorney) and made every step of tough process MEANINGFUL, as my close friend in her 80’s moved from independent living into assisted active living, and KRISTY gave the trust & confidence to allow my dear friend to relocate AND thrive outside her comfort zone! Kristy is a spectacular addition to my father’s medical team. She is a pro at communication with him, the family, and his doctor. She has done thorough assessments of his abilities and of the home resulting in real positive changes in his physical and mental abilities. She knows how to build trust and is extremely reliable and available. We are so grateful for her involvement in my father’s care! Highly recommend.

My perspective of and experience with Kristy, and Aging with Ability, is different than most people. I have not had to hire Kristy to provide services or care for a family member; rather, I met Kristy because of a mutual client. I have found that Kristy is incredible at her profession, and the care and compassion she provides is invaluable. Her ability to communicate and provide knowledge of her field is priceless. My experience with Kristy has allowed me to comfortably and confidently refer her and her company to other clients and families that would benefit from her services, her knowledge and resources, and her advocacy.

Highly recommend Aging with Ability owned by Kristy. I worked with her at RVNA for over 10 year and her patients simply loved her. They would continuously express how dedicated/compassionate/talented and a hard worker. If one of my family members needed additional services in their home I would not hesitate to recommend Kristy. If you are looking for a caring and compassionate care you have found the person.
