We had lots of fun with Toby on the Perfect Pups course. We really enjoyed Toby's inclusive and supportive approach. He is very kind and has a very dog focused style. Toby is open to help with any questions or concerns we had. I'd highly recommend Toby as a trainer and to attend the perfect pups course.

Pixie and I had a great time on our puppy training course. We both learnt a lot. I found the tips about adolescence reassuring, and Pixie has become a little less excitable.

Merlin our 5 month old golden retriever just completed the Perfect Pups course with Toby. Would highly recommend Toby as a trainer. He is passionate, knowledgeable and puts in a great amount of effort to deliver a well thought out puppy program.

Toby was absolutely amazing!!With this being our first dog, we were so worried if we were doing anything right or wrong and the internet is littered with differing advice.Toby made everything seem so simple and didn’t just do the teaching for us, but he has given us the tools to train our dog ourselves.Will definitely be using Toby again!!

Toby is very knowledgeable and supportive. He takes the time to get to know you and your dog, I also really appreciated his kind approach to dog training too. Not only does he teach you how to get the best out of your dog/promote good behaviours, he also teaches you about the stages of your dogs life and what to expect. This was really helpful as first time puppy owners.

This was an absolutely brilliant training course. Having been to one before this, Toby's was miles better. So much good advice, the setup was good, the pace of training and breaking down the elements of training was good. The videos and lessons summaries after classes were so helpful. And the welcome and leaving gifts were a lovely touch too.

If you are looking for a kind, patient, knowledgable & force-free trainer with bags of experience, then Toby Duncan is the man for you. It’s no exaggeration to say that it’s thanks to Toby, that our rescue boy is still with us today, and for that I will always be eternally grateful. Toby listened to our woes (when other trainers and our vets hadn’t,) and went out of his way to put us in touch with fellow industry specialists, that helped us drill down to the root cause of our boy’s extreme behaviours. Nothing is too much trouble for Toby and he deals with stressed out dog parents with infinite tact, diplomacy, empathy & wisdom - I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of him. We have met our fair share of trainers over the years, and Toby is without doubt one of the best around. He keeps abreast of all the latest developments in dog training & behaviour, and he constantly strives to know more and to learn more, in order to make his practices even better and to benefit his clients. It’s testament to how much we value Toby that we are still in touch with him over a year later and will be attending his new classes starting in 2025. I guarantee that both you and your beloved dog will be in the very safest & gentlest of hands with Toby - he’s an absolute credit to his profession, and the dog training industry as a whole would be greatly improved if there were more trainers like Toby around!!
